Maybe you’ll hate me but I saw this elsewhere and sent a tip to TPM. We do get our share of firearm-related idiocy in Penn’s Woods, don’t we? Could be anywhere, of course, but it’s all too often here. I just was struck by having a deadly weapon in church on Easter, fer Chrissakes.

Maybe churches should implement rules against carrying weapons to worship services, in the interest of everyone’s safety. And maybe parishioners should worship elsewhere if their church allows arming up on Sunday morning.

Here in AZ our Legislature tried to pass a bill to allow guns in public buildings. It passed I believe. This is exactly the sort of thing I expected to happen. Idiots with guns. Luckily nobody was killed.
