God, I hate it when I write a response rant that misses the snark. And now that you responded, I can’t even do the ol’ Minitrue fullwise rectify on it. Nope. Now my Poeing is out there forever. Damn you. Damn you all to hell.
I at first heard it was not a deposition, but it looks like it will be.
Welcome to the human race - we fuck up on average several hundred times a day, at the very least. hahahahahahahahahaha
Just makes you more lovable.
A federal judge on Friday ordered Hillary Clinton to provide written testimony under oath about why she set up a private computer server to send and receive emails while secretary of state, ensuring that the issue will continue to dog her presidential campaign until the eve of the election.
In a brief ruling issued on Friday afternoon, the judge, Emmet G. Sullivan of Federal District Court in Washington, approved a motion by the conservative advocacy organization Judicial Watch to pursue its vigorous campaign to expose Mrs. Clinton’s use of the private server. In addition to requiring her testimony in writing, the judge allowed the group to depose a senior State Department aide who had warned two subordinates not to question her email practices.

How many goddamned times is she going to have to answer the same goddamned questions?
Judge Sullivan gave Judicial Watch until Oct. 14 to submit questions to Mrs. Clinton — three and a half weeks before Election Day on Nov. 8. Significantly, perhaps, he ordered Mrs. Clinton to submit her answers within 30 days of that deadline, meaning she could delay her answers until after the election. The deposition of the senior aide [John Bentel foreign service], however, will take place by Oct. 31.
Early voting begins next month and October in various places. Maybe the votes we need will be cast at that time. Mine will that’s for sure.
What is this Podesta Group, Inc. connection. John Podesta and his brother started this group. Seems a bit seedy or am I misunderstanding this article
It was a righteous rant, though
Donald is going to protect Americans from terrorists.
Yeah, right.
He can’t even see lobbiests for communist governments inside his own organization! And how much is Donald dependent on Russian mob investors? What is Trump hiding in his tax returns?
Well, she did create this mess by being so stupid and arrogant. All she had to do was get it cleared through State, and there is no issue. None. And it turns out there was classified info on there, etc., though she may not have realized it. But it was there, and was classified at the time, just not with all the headings. But if it had been hacked and sensitive info compromised, she would have been prosecuted. But the “no harm no foul” rule applied, and Comey did the right thing not prosecuting. But Comey also called out her complete stupidity on the issue.
She had to be just totally arrogant and stupid to not think this would become an issue. Just like getting head from an intern that is your subordinate is something one should not engage in.
I’d like to know if her answers can just be to take the Fifth. But I think she would have to do that for either all questions, or none. That would not look good. We’ll see how it shakes out.
You know, from what I’ve read, some of these “classified” emails were things like travel or meeting schedules, which are classified until after the meetings have taken place. It would be really interesting to know if any truly important classified information was present. Not the routine classifications like for meetings and not the over classification of stuff that is in the public domain (e.g., the drone reference classifications) that has been rampant of late. Honest to God sensitive, important information that could cause harm if leaked. I would be willing to be there aren’t any.
Ya know, Russia is backing him for their own purposes, I doubt that means that they want his obnoxious ass as their own forever.
Trump’s business and business style are welcome, The Donald himself, I’ll say, not so much : )
How many law LLCs have full time experts in this arena? Law firms do not keep associates, or partners, on head count unless they’re bringing in revenue.
I can’t tell if you despise her or simply hate her, but you need to leave Monica out of the conversation 30 years later. And your description of what happened was so classy. Makes my day.
Yeah I got your comment about the other thread. I had just been reading mrcomments very comment when I ran into the “he hates Hillary and Bill too,” comments and this is what probably set it up for me to take the others wrong.
What remains is the knowledge that trumpet is seething helplessly. So, six or eight hahas are still appropriate
I agree with that whole heartedly.
I don’t hate or despise her, but I am certainly not fond of her, and she is just not a good candidate. If John Kaisich were the Republican nominee, she would be trailing him right now. She’s lucky the Republicans were dumb enough to nominate Trump. Now if Obama could run a third time, he’d blow out any Republican.
I’m really not sure how anyone can debate that what Hillary did was arrogant and stupid. Hell, even SHE has admitted it was stupid.
And for the record, Bill’s sophomoric idiocy with an intern was a HUGE factor in why Bush won in 2000. Without that idiocy, he would have no doubt been the most popular President in history.
Yes, they are a couple of extremely intelligent people who did stupid and arrogant things. I find that significant. And again, she is damn lucky the Republicans are running Trump against her.
You know what, mrcomments? She’s going to win so like it or not she’s going to be the next President of the United States so what you think of her as a candidate has exactly 0 value.
And if a Republican had done the same thing, you’d be calling for them to be indicted.
And the point is that she adamantly said there was NO classified info. She lied. No doubt. Oh, in the FBI questioning I am sure it was “not that I am aware of” when asked that question. Plus she even signed a non-disclosure agreement that sensitive info should be considered and handled as classified even if not marked as such.
And for the record, 65 emails had info classified as “secret”, 20 were “top secret”. Even though classified as such later, many had sensitive info on foreign governments that should have been handled as classified per the agreement she signed.
Again, there is no proof anyone hacked in, and that is the ONLY reason she has not been indicted, or at the least had security clearances taken away from her (although anyone else would have been stripped of clearances). If this was a Republican, all the people defending her on here would be clamoring that the Republican was irresponsible and should be brought up on charges. That’s just a fact.
For the people on here who think I wanted her to be indicted, that is just false. My point is that she came damn close to it due to stupidity and arrogance. And it has definitely lost her big time votes, though against Trump it does not matter, any Dem would beat that jackass.
