Why Judiciary and not Intelligence?

I wonder how cocky Jr. will act during his testimony.

Ding. Ding. Ding. We have a winner. Judiciary got Jr first.

And we get to see two types of liars on full display to compare and contrast styles:

Manafort with the traditional form of crafty lies

vs.

Jr. with the currently popular form of blatant lie with a blank stare.

Actually we will all get to see if “Jr-lying-under-oath” looks any different than “Jr-lying-in-general”.

I am betting a number of questions go unanswered under the blanket of “kinda sorta Executive Privilege lemme ask the President if it’s okay to talk about it”.

I heard Malcolm Nance say that they could be walking into a perjury trap. If what they say under oath to the committee doesn’t exactly match what they said to Moeller or the FBI they are even more screwed.

So Chuck Grassley can softball all questioning, shift it to Hillary’s emails and whine about Democrats playing partisan with politics.

Form a sentence from the following words:
Sen. Franken / Deer / Headlights.

Love it!! Can’t wait to see it!!

ETA: Al Franken is about a billion times smarter than the whole family put together.

Maybe the “lying under oath” will involve some type of twitching or nervous tic.

Too bad it’s not the Intelligence Committee. I would LOVE to see Kamala Harris question both of these clowns.

What’re the odds on Trump tweeting something spectacular or a carefully-manufactured crisis in the healthcare fiasco to try and cover this up?

Al Franken is good enough, and there are other Dems on the Judiciary Committee who will ask good questions.

Hmmm. It’s only Jr. and not Ivanka.

Since the FBI cleared them to testify, are we to assume Don Jr. was interrogated? Both will invoke the 5th but not sure about executive privilege. Would it apply?

You just made me realize that there is a fairly good chance T-rumpus will personally involve himself in “crafting” Jr.'s testimony.

Good luck to Jr.'s lawyer.

Actually, I meant more “These poor orphans we’re going to import - we don’t want to world to know who they are! Adopted? They’ll be made fun of!”

Is it behind closed doors? I have not found a reference to it.
