This looks like a Mueller ‘pass off’. I’m really hoping that Mueller indicts Jr. sometime next week after Giuliani’s bullshit Sept. 1st nondeadline. I love the sound of wingers howling at the moon, like dark suited, feral canines in red-faced, full throated fauxtrage.
And what’s so fucking stupid about the way our press handles these things is that Rudes could have set up a completely idiotic nondeadline, such as the August full moon and Chuck Todd and his listless coven of bothsiders would stroke their chins and act very serious and say: :“Tomorrow’s the August full moon, Mueller better act quickly. Could Mueller be on shaky ground? Here’s Bob Costa to talk about the optics of Mueller’s indicting a Trump associate after the full moon.”

There was some GOP lackey on with Chuck Todd yesterday. He made two points:
(1) Mueller should wrap his investigation up sooner, rather than later; and
(2) Mueller shouldn’t announce any indictments between Labor Day and the mid-term elections.
This sounds very much like a flip case… hopefully we will know soon what he offered to the investigators and what fly will drop next as a result.
