If everybody misunderstands you, it probably is you.
I mean, if you dress and arm yourselves like a death squad, and you want to scare people enough to outweigh the motivation that started them on a high-risk journey, and you look like the bad guys to U.S. Border Patrol, and your fellow militia members describe illegal immigration as an invasion destroying America, you haven’t worked very hard to be understood as a “deterrence” squad or any other alternative.

Militia is never going to sound nice. You don’t want them in your stores or restaurants just like guns, which they have lots of. They need to stay deep in the woods or swamps or wherever they’ve been before now.
Besides the fact that they are self appointed and no one requested them, no one needs them and they are getting in the way. Their fantasy of being protectors of the realm, not just in video games, isn’t real. If they can’t deal with and face the reality that they are not wanted, then how in the hell can we think that they are sane enough to be packing huge weapons and be on the prowl?
We can’t, they are gun happy idiots.

These militia goons with their antics and propensity to waive guns around and threatening to shoot people they perceive as a threat are eventually going to hurt or kill themselves, an actual border agent or somebody crossing the border. I don’t understand why they cannot let the duly authorized border people do their jobs. They are not helping to secure the border. I live quite close to the Mexican border and I have seen there Rambo wannabe’s. Eventually they will have something to regret.
