Why did he keep his gun nearby? Was he scared that the zombies would come out of the TV and attack him?

That is too funny!!! Once again “Guns don’t kill people - people kil people”. The problem with that motto is that a lot of idiots own guns that shouldn’t. Well there is one less conservative vote for 2016 to worry about! Can we recommend that all red state viewers that love the 2nd amendment watch the walking dead with their guns in their hands? It’s funny to think this - Zombies with guns watching zombies on tv~~~

What gets me is that the National Rifle (Manufacturers) Association keeps telling us that responsible gun owners don’t need all those silly laws. Well, I’m a responsible driver, but you don’t see Congress making car laws around the likes of me. They make them around our Governor who got pulled over for speeding…at least he didn’t challenge the ticket or try to make it go away.

Why did he keep the gun nearby, and why was he taking it out? He was pretending to shoot zombies, just like a seven year old boy might with a toy. Just another responsible gun owner.

He will now sue AMC and the producers for not clearly stating that The Walking Dead is a fictional TV show about zombies and a zombie apocalypse.

Because it’s a toy. When you’re excited about watching your favorite TV show, you get out your toys and play with them during the show. I did the same thing with He-Man.

Time after time, horseplay with a loaded weapon is the only explanation for the accident. If you make guns trivially easy to get, they will come into the hands of careless, immature people and this kind of thing is the inevitable result. You can’t just shrug and talk about swimming pools, because swimming pools aren’t made to be dangerous.
