Zinke and Pruitt run their departments like the Turpins run their familiy - underfeed everyone they’re responsible for, lock them in the basement, stunt their growth until they can’t function anymore. And meanwhile, take private charters to Vegas to get remarried in the Elvis church.
I’d love to see both of them in jail awaiting trial, with bail set at 9 million dollars.
Trump: Draining the swamp continues. This will help with trillions on unpaid tax cuts for the rich.
I’d like to see Zinke in an orange jumpsuit picking up water bottles by the side of the road. But I will gladly settle for his resignation and repayment for the cost of his flag.
When bent on destruction and a predisposition to give away park lands to his next employer . . . . who needs advisers?
With so many other scandals going on, will anyone notice?
One more thing to rebuild once republicans are out of power.
Ryan Zinke: a so called Navy Seal
Steve Bannon: a so called Navy Seal
Tom Cotton: a so called Navy Seal
Missouri rapist governor and anti-government right winger Eric Greiten: a so called Navy Seal
Scott Taylor: a right winger and nati-government : a so called former Navy Seal
White males coming our of the Navy Seals are showing and demonstrating an alarming pattern of racism, anti government right wing extremism, and disregard for rules and common decency. Zinke took $ 50,000 from the forest fire fund that was already depleted and used that money for a trip to Alaska that included kayaking and fishing with other congressmen (only Republicans and all were white males). To cover that $ 50,000 that states lost to Zinke travel, they had to cut their snow clearing budgets in Montana and elsewhere. That is a lot of money for those small states.
Not only should people stop voting for Navy Seals, we really need a congressional inquiry into why the Seals are pumping out right wing extremists with highly questionable morale character and worse. We know Zinke’s Naval career was at a dead end for falsifying travel expenses into the thousands of dollars and lost a stripe and was formally reprimanded. Trump loves that…he loves right wingers with disregard for the rules and morality.
Why is the media ignoring this issue?
Republican’ts run on a platform of, “Government is broken!” Then they get elected and break it…
I really wanted to say a few words about toxic asshole Zinke but I am too busy laughing at Dr. Ronnie Jackson’s comment that Trump could live for 200 years.
Remind me not to get a barium enema from Ronnie.
Well, as former Seals, they are all really good at slapping their fins together while they balance big red balls on their noses.
I think that after Zinke and Greitens there is sufficient empirical basis for a New Rule: Anyone running for political office whose main qualification or bragging point is having been a Navy Seal, is most probably a vain, megalomaniac asshole.
Is “disinterest” the right word here?
Are the national parks white?
“…Why is the media ignoring this issue?..”
To be sure they do extremely dangerous and often heroic deeds and that’s why the media treat them as untouchable.
The culture is one of get drunk, get laid, and I’m entitled to fuck you lady.
As for racism and sexism, the services are full of it, mostly underground to be sure, but full of it.
No, it’s not. disinterest is not lack of interest, but the word – like so many others – is slowly getting destroyed by semi-literate college grads and tv anchors. I gave up, for ex, on “beg the question”.
“comprise/compose”
Poor Zink…what is he DOING now that he can’t fly around on the taxpayer’s dime…he’s not going to meetings, he’s not doing his job…what IS he doing? Inquiring minds and all that, Ry…
I guess those National Parks should just go back to the shithole countries they came from.
No, it is not.
“Disinterest” means impartiality—as in you want your court case to be judged by a disinterested party with nothing to gain or lose.
Caitlin should have said “uninterest” or “lack of interest.” Those both mean that Zinke doesn’t give a rat’s round rear.
Take note, Caitlin—there’s a short quiz next period.
Not I—I am happy to inform anyone who thinks this actually involves a question that they are dead wrong.
