“It is our understanding that the LePage Administration has left a number of these requests unfulfilled, and it is the intention of our Administration to work to locate, inventory, and honor them in as timely a manner as possible.”

Be interesting to see if LePage wrote any notes on them. Like “We stole this election”.

We’re going to be learning a lot about what the proto-Trump was up to during his years in power.

And never forget — LePage got re-elected, in part because people took for granted that he was so awful he couldn’t get re-elected. LePage is an object lesson in how badly such assumptions can go wrong.

Any investigation of Pablo pendejo is going to get ugly. Something tells me he isn’t the best at covering his tracks.

Fun Fact: As soon as he left office el gordo LePage moved to Florida.

There’s a lot of dirty laundry that needs to be aired out in places like Maine, Wisconsin, and Michigan, where corrupt Republican leadership has been replaced by Democratic Governors. I think we’ll be reading many similar thematic stories in the next few months.

Does Florida still extradite…or has DeSantis changed the laws already to protect his fellow travelers?

Gov. Mills wants to air out the office, get rid of that Eau LePage stench.

Anything that smacks of impropriety or illegality on his part will be put on public display.

Kansas would be mighty interesting as well.

As to Florida, I’m sure AG Moody can find ways to muck it up.

It depends if the perp has a (D) or an ® next to their name. R’s aren’t extradited because of Freedoms © but D’s are because of “tough on crime” © .

If ex-Governor LeHalfWitTroglodyte is anywhere near as clever with his finances as I think he is, it shouldn’t be too hard to get the Feds involved.

As a citizen of a state renowned for bad governors (Arizona - Ev “pickaninny” Mecham, Jan “birther” Brewer, to name a few) it is impressive to see another state give us some real competition in the dirtbag contest. LePage had that streak of nastiness and racism overlaid by incredible stupidity that puts him at the elite level of awful. Can’t wait to see the list of names of everyone he pardoned on his way out the door.

That would be Pepe LePew, er, LePage?

Yes indeed. There are those of us who thought it would be impossible to re elect this lout.

He pardoned a male, white man convicted of felony drug trafficking. This was the same man who said dealers were all black men coming up from the city and impregnating white Maine women. Really. The google machine tells a great tale of this losers racism.

And wasn’t LePage’s daughter some Trump Campaign spokesperson or official in Maine?

What did Paul Le Pew rack up in charges for in-room “adult” movies?

He definitely ordered the one featuring D-Money, Smoothie and Shifty!

Maine Dems even ran a relatively popular candidate from the second congressional district (read: blue dog), and LePage still won. The saving grace is that he still wasn’t able to get above 50%, but you’re right that this stands as a warning for the country in 2020. Maybe if the Democrat had been more progressive and brought out the ME-01 vote, instead of trying to appeal to the rural ME-02 population, which was already trending republican.
