While we are trying to avoid electing a racist misogynist from office, it seems to me that we are finding that the racist misogynists are already in office. It is giving me the same sense of dread that I got from that sci-fi movie when the hero is trying very hard to stop an invasion of world conquering aliens only to discover at the end of the film that the aliens had already been here all along.
