Hell hath no fury like the media scorned. Whatever storyline he had from that rally is getting undercut by the violence against the media.
I think yesterday was an utter disaster for Trump. Heâs had a lot of those lately, but each one weakens him further. Heâs weaker than people think. It really wasnât a smart thing to give Beto an opportunity to awaken. He was in strong form yesterday when for the past 2 months he looked like a college kid who took a year off to âfind himselfâ wandering aimlessly in the woods. One of the great things about the 2008 primary is the Democrats showcased a great, diverse range of quality candidates that it enabled the country to put their trust in the party. We won elections across the board that year. But thatâs nothing compared to what the 2020 Dem primary is shaping up to be.

The big thing is that people are mature enough not to get into a snit when their favorite loses a primary, takes their marbles to go home, and donât vote. UIt is going to be a case of closing ranks after the tussle, and recognizing that the Republicans are worse than whatever Democrat is leading the charge.
