Discussion: Lt. Gov. Caught On Hot Mic On Hannity: 'That Is Terrible TV' (VIDEO)

Discussion for article #234266

It sounds like he’s criticizing the opinions of those being interviewed and hardly sympathetic to the issues facing the African-American community.

Missouri “has had it up to here”?!!

I’ve had it with people like the Lt. Governor.

Seems like an accurate description of Hannity’s show.

I didn’t watch the segment, but if it was Hannity, it probably was terrible TV.

Actually, Kinder doesn’t want to hear what people who don’t look like him actually have to say.

Finally, someone tells the truth about Fox New.

Even the Reich-Wing dipshits are beginning to have second-thoughts about appearing with the “Intellectual Midget” and his minions.
Well Hannity my boy, you can always book some more Nazi’s and White Supremacy/Gun Nuts. They LOVE the exposure.

I’m confused. Is the Lt. Gov. disparaging those in Ferguson being asked to comment or is he dissing Fox/Hannity??

This article is terrible “journalism”.

Since he is a Republican appearing on Fox News, it is assuredly the former.

Somehow, comments caught on open mics always call to mind the “secret supplications of the heart” in Mark Twain’s “Letter to the Earth”:

Nothing tops the late works of Sam Clemens for pure, naked cynicism.

End credits for an episode of Mr. Potato Head’s show

Please proceed Lt Governor… Show the citizens of Missouri what you really think of them and the conditions in which they live.

I haven’t heard from Pete since 2011 when he defended himself on accusations of moral turpitude and hypocrisy by saying okay, he DID go to that strip club but while there he never got a lap dance.

This sounds a lot like the old theory that even a blind pig can find truffles now and then. In this case, the saying would be “Even the GOP speaks the truth occasionally, even if it’s inadvertent.” However, the odds of that happening are more likely like the odds of a monkey typing the Gettysburg Address.

These are the times I wish Christopher Hitchens was still alive. He would have taken “God this is terrible TV,” showed up on Mr. Potato Head’s show and run it into the end zone.

Tiwce.

I’m not surprised. Hannity’s show is the plastic Porta-Potty of the TV world, and it must stink like festering death in there, even for a feckless Missouri GOPer.

Huh. Clicked on the headline thinking it was about Tom Schweich. MO generates so very many opportunities for bad publicity, it’s hard to keep track.

I believe that’s the motto emblazoned on Fox News letterhead.

Well, I thought that might be true, but I did not want to jump to conclusions. That is the habit of the RWNJ’s and I do NOT want to give them any ammunition (hypocrisy darts). They might call me Kenyan, Communist, Socialist, Muslim, easy on ISIS, etc. You get the idea…

“God, that is terrible TV,” he said, looking off camera.
Hannity seemed caught off guard.

Hannity’s more used to show reviews scrawled on public toilet walls than uttered live.

If it’s good TV you’re looking for, Guv, try Rachel Maddow.
