Yes, this was such a masterful conspiracy to foil Trump’s Presidential aspirations. All the parties involved agreed to engineer a release of damaging audio right before possibly the most important set of primaries in the election cycle, Super Tuesday. As we’ll see, their plot will bear fruit today, as multiple media outlets have played the tapes for all to hear, and Trump is suffering much condemnation as a result. He’s SOOOOO screwed!! Oh, wait…

The word “collusion” has a specific meaning and connotation that doesn’t apply to this very unremarkable situation. Dobbs knows that or he doesn’t, and is ignorant, a hypocrite, or both; I don’t know because I don’t watch TV and wouldn’t watch him if I did.

Just speculating but Gail Collins has been openly hinting about this. And I could totally see Trump sitting down with a handful of top Times people and telling them off the record it’s all a negotiating posture thing. He tells people what they want to hear, and he’s sloppily reckless, and on some level he has to know you can’t just whisk 11 million people out of the country, so it’s all pretty plausible. And if tape of him saying so came out I think it could hurt him. But unless someone high up made a copy and it got into the wrong hands, it won’t. You can’t burn people who tell you stuff off the record if you want to keep getting news tips that way.

As much as I don’t like Lou Dobbs,I do think there are more players than the NY Times involved in this.
No, Rump is NOT Reagan 2.0 and this is not the 1980’s. Look at it like this: Rump doesn’t have the numbers to win the General and, at the end of the day, elections are numbers’ games. Period. Unless a confluence of things happen simultaneously involving the Dems primarily, I doubt any Rethug can make it. Obviously I could be wrong but only if certain things come into play which, right now, don’t appear to be happening.
