Discussion: Lordy, Omarosa Has Tapes: Former Aide Clandestinely Recorded Trump

So, Onorosa begins her rehabilitation? She is not a dumb person, just another grifter.

IIRC, Spankee has supposedly also taped phone calls, etc., during his many years of cheating and swindling.

Since he is most highly attracted to people who are as slimy as he is himself, I am surprised that he is surprised to find out that they’re just as slimy and vengeful as he is.

Spankee is the fattest, ugliest snake in the gigantic nest of snakes that he calls his friends and family.

Sigh. One of the saddest spectacles in our ongoing crisis is seeing all this childish unseriousness at literally the highest levels of our public life. I saw the tapes described as “anodyne,” just normal talk, but I imagine some people find it fascinating because it’s stuff you’re not supposed to hear. It’s like clandestine footage from a changing room. It wouldn’t be remarkable for any reason other than it’s a violation of someone’s privacy. It’s like there’s a culture of boundary violation, and that violation somehow for a certain yucky type of person is an obsessed-over goal in itself. That’s Trump, and people like him. Barging into dressing rooms, looking for dirt on people, taking away their dignity. These tapes are no big deal and yet they’re emblematic of the skulking smallness and vulgarity of what we’re dealing with here.

A grifter with recordings? Who would have thunk it?

I remember being told here about how security would have prevented James Comey (R-Obama Appointee) from recording his conversations with Trump.

This story shows what a sorry excuse that was.

Had Comey done his job, he would have opened a criminal investigation and returned to the White House wearing a wire and recorded Trump’s attempts to obstruct justice. But Comey was clearly pro-Trump until the moment Trump fired him.

If there is any indication of possible relevance, Mueller should subpoena Omarosa’s recordings immediately.

Wouldn’t these tapes be subject to POTUS/Apprentice privilege?

Omarosa would love it. Free advertising that you couldn’t buy if you wanted to.

Counting down the seconds until Twitler tweets she’s “low IQ”.

Speaking of clandestine tapes, Devin Nunez got taped saying Rosenstein’s impeachment is on ice only because of the Kavanaugh nomination:

Yes, I must say Nunes being caught with his pants down, figuratively speaking, was my early morning laugh.

The larger story here is the lack of anything resembling loyalty even among those closest to PP. It’s not about the tapes, and I’m not sure what the hell James Comey or Barack Obama have to do with this, but it is stunning to me how even those in the inner circle who’ve been there for years and years simply do not trust that man. Even when they were extolling his virtues to the world and loudly proclaiming him to be the greatest man they’ve ever known they still felt a need for an insurance policy. It seems the only people who have an ounce of faith in him are his voters, Fox News hosts, and a handful of Republican congressmen.

Sorry, who is ‘Lordy’ ? Seems to be thrown in the headline solely because Omarosa is a black woman.

It’s a reference to what James Comey said in his Congressional hearing, when asked about his reaction to Trump warning there might be tapes of his discussion with Comey about letting Flynn go.

Nothing to do with Omarosa’s race.

Indeed I remember all those insider tapes and controversy in the Obama White House…

What’s all the fuss? Obviously, this is what the best people do. They secretly record each other. All the top tier types do it. Like enormous wealth, it’s a sign of a truly superior person.
