Discussion for article #228472
Reveals the Republican partyâs problem in a nutshell. Once it gave credibility to the Tea Party and its extreme views, anyone who takes a moderate or reasonable position has to pay a price. (and I do not understand how anyone could be a Log Cabin Republican)
Donât worry media, the GOP hillbillies going to rip âMr Plan Bâ back in line. And he going to hide until the coast is clear then pretend he never said it or the media took him out of context & the media will react like they always does, just shrug it off. THEN GO FIND THE NEXT FAKE OBAMA DRAMA. Better know as ODSâŚ
Just how can someone be gay and be a Republican? Thatâs like pretending that all of the friends that hate you and canât stand you are your real friends.
So those decades of Hate-Stoking comes back and bites, does it?
Whoever said Republicantâs arenât gay? Dick Cheney is gay.
The criticism ought to be toward the candidate, who canât be too smart if he is a Republican. Why would any gay person want to be part of a Party that has disdain for who he is?
âFor the most part those [criticizing Boehner for boosting a pro-gay candidate] are outliers in the GOP,â Angelo insisted,
Angelo is the outlier in this one. The GOTP big tent doesnât cover gays, unless they are voting in favor of the GOTP platform or contributing bucks.
It is ironic that the GOP is willing to do anything to elect members of their party, even overlooking the extremists who wish only to destroy the countryâŚBUTâŚthey canât possibly handle someone who is gay. I think thatâs pretty much the definition of Bigotry. I donât much care what they believe, but Iâm really tired of them telling me what I should believe. What I truly believe is that we need a much better group of people elected to govern.
When the Speaker has to fight his own (insane) party to
campaign for another republican . . . .The common sense boat sailed, sunk,
and was dragged back to shore and sunk again.
