The day that churches start having to pay their fair share you’ll see 10’s of thousands just shut their doors, as the grifters that run them, will disappear with everything they can haul off!!
We used to vote at a church a short block from our house. It’s fundie but the people were always extremely polite. The wait to vote was never more than 5 minutes. That polling station closed as a (cough) State cost saving measure. Now we’d have to drive to our polling station and the one time we voted there the wait was over 90 minutes. Now we pay the $2 in postage and vote by mail.
No voter suppression there!
