Why wouldnāt they? Trump hasnāt pardon any of them, not even the the likes of Michael Cohen who had worked for him for years.
Along with all the unethical people who flocked to Trumpās campaign and administration what I want to know is when did the DoJ start taking ānot registering as a foreign agentā as a serious threat. I remember some weeks ago seeing the guy (now retired) who took over the department that keeps track of this on MSNBC. From what I remember of the interview it was this guy who saw something going on and decided that FARA needed to be enforced. I just canāt remember when he took charge, and what was the trigger that made him start prosecuting these lobbyists.

Muellerās been pretty lenient with the small-fry that have cooperated. So better to cooperate and take a minimum penalty versus taking a chance on a Pardon from a disloyal guy like Trump.
They say a con is the easiest mark. It appears to be true if you consider any of these criminals actually think DJT is going to pardon them.
Call me naive, but I didnāt really think there were so many treasonous bastids in our United Statesā¦and they all seem to revolve around Trumpā¦or at least the āconservativesā.
