Discussion: Lindsey Graham: 'Mike Has Gone Down The Wrong Road'

Discussion for article #238895

First question, Ms. Graham: Have you read the full content of the agreement? Not just the cover page, but all 154 pages. Have you read every single word in the agreement?

Follow-up question, Ms. Graham: If this agreement is not satisfactory, then please present a detailed description (beyond the generic ‘get a better deal’) of what that ‘better deal’ would include. Given that sanctions over the last two decades have not prevented the Iranians from getting the tools to go nuclear, what would you propose instead? Details, man, details.

Last question, Ms. Graham: How would you pay for the US’s part in implementing your detailed version of the agreement?

Crickets, you say?

That’s what I thought…

Give it up, Lindsey. It’s just sad at this point.

Nobody to my knowledge has come up with a better way to prevent the Iranians from getting nukes. Yet they are against what the 6 nations + Iran have come up with. For me,… to be against any deal with Iran (see Sen. Cotton’s viewpoint) results in them getting a weapon. There is no alternative to this deal.

Oh dear. Lindsey has drawn himself up to his full height and said ‘Ah do declare, I believe Mr Trump is wrong in this matter.’

Can’t wait to see what kind of bitch-slap Trump comes back with. There will be one, we know, because the Donald does not accept criticism gracefully (or at all, for that matter).

Miss Lindsey, haven’t you heard the ultimate GOP base riddle about non-Republicans? It goes like this: “Is he without honor because he is liberal? Or is he liberal because he is without honor?”

I don’t really see the big deal here. It’s not as though Republicans care about the Jews; they only care about Israel, because they think Jesus is coming back there as soon as they can manage to make that happen.

It is, as always, all about them.

Well, there is – for more war.

Graham’s haircut was inspired by Gumby.

They believe and that is the operative term.

And that’s the point that Obama made: if you have an issue with this, tell me your plan. He’s absolutely right. These bloviators always insist the President is wrong, but offer no alternatives… to pretty much anything, including the Iran deal.

I don’t know why the MSM won’t call these guys out, except for their fear of losing access.

Were I Obama (I’m glad I’m not) I would have taken McConnell up on his one term comment and gone all in much as Obama is finally doing now at long last. Skewering the GOP for all I’m worth. But then that’s just me and being that combative isn’t a sustainable tactic. It’s personal and not for the good of the country.
The MSM lost its way when Cronkite retired. I recall programs Edward R Murrow did. Real investigative journalism. Stuff like that isn’t done anymore. There are some great youtube videos of his work.

Lastly what Huckabee said about the Iran deal and Obama is offensive in the extreme to me and I’m not Jewish. Graham was way too mild in his response to Huckabee.

It’s telling that many complaints are from supposed legislators that haven’t passed anything of substance in at least six years.

“What about the hostages?” “They should stop calling for Israel’s destruction.” “Make them stop chanting Death to America.”

Well chuckles, which aspect of the actual nuclear nonproliferation deal would you like to give up for your feel-good concession?

Going to be difficult to top giving away his phone number, but there is hope.
