Don’t forget Mayan Human Sacrifice of their defeated enemies.
You don’t want “Teh Gub’Mint” to legislate against their “Deeply Held Religious Beliefs” as they rip out the still-beating hearts of those they have conquered and offer them up to their sun god K’inich Aja do you?
Limbaugh Defends Pam Geller
Well, there goes Geller’s last shred of credibility. When both Mike Huckabee and Rush Limbaugh back you up you know you’re so far beyond wrong that you won’t even see the light from wrong for millions of years.
When the moon hits your eye
Like a hairy robed guy
That’s Sharia…
Rush bring up that case in New Jersey to bolster his defense about “Shariah law” being present in this country, failing to realize that the trial judge’s faulty reasoning in that case is the exact reasoning that Rush and others want to use for themselves to discriminate against gay people, that is that you cannot be held accountable for breaking the law so long as you were simply following your religious beliefs.
He’s right about Sharia law, only I think they call themselves Evangelicals.
Actually Limbaugh and many conservatives arguing for religious freedom and that sort of thing are really arguing for this exact sort of thing. People being able to ignore rule of law because of their beliefs.
Really, some lower courts do dumb things. The lower court guy was probably conservative too.
“Sharia law has already been implemented in this country”
That’s a boast, not a warning.
Sharia Law in America is called the conservative movement.
“You must conform, you must like, you must agree, you must comport, you must do what we want or else.”
That’s what laws are for in a country that respects laws, Rush. No, you don’t have to like them, and you can try not to agree with them, but you have to obey them. It’s our elected representatives who make those laws, so take a bow, Rush. Your vote helped make them. We pass laws to protect our citizens, and what we’re saying is indeed, you must do what we want or else, if what you want to do is going to hurt people and make our country weaker.
Idaho is quite sure that Sharia law will be implemented if the state accepts $46 million in Federal funds for a child support bill and so will be declining it. They recognize a clear and present danger when they see it.
Hey! Look who stepped up! Pammy has the fat, draft-dodging junkie watching her back!
Somebody should tell him that’s a really good place to get shot. He’d run away so fast, he’d set the soles of his shoes on fire from the friction.
Did you see the news today? Pammy is now comparing herself to Malala, the little Pakistani girl who got wounded by the Taliban because it was pissed she went to school! Before it was a rape victim and then it was Rosa Parks. So, at the moment, Pammy has said she’s a Catholic girl in a bad part of town, a ni(CLANG!) with sore feet and now a little Muslim girl just trying to learn her ABCs. One of these days she’ll find the right one.
canonical law, not Cannon Law. yeesh.
The epic hypocrisy here is that with the right hand Limbaugh denounces Sharia Law, with the left hand Limbaugh and other right nutjobs demand the equivalent of Sharia Law for Christian beliefs.
Cannon law is when you tie someone across the muzzle of a cannon and then set it off. Although started by the Moghuls, it was very popular with the British during the Sepoy Mutiny. As a means of execution, it’s somewhat messy but very effective.

Rush Limbaugh; ignorant, deluded, or just a damned liar? There is NO “Sharia law” in this country, Rusty, despite your desire to inflame stupid people with your bigotry. I am ashamed that this pustule still has a national platform from which to spew hatred, disinformation and out-and-out lies. He’s a fitting descendant of Father Coughlin, has about as much credibility as Alex Jones, and is an all-around parasitic organism. While I don’t wish him dead, I eagerly await the day I get to read his obituary, or at least learn that he has been taken off the air. His is one voice NO ONE needs to hear.
Easy peasy: just expect state and local judges to interpret the RFRA as only applying to protect the state religion.
Sure, eventually some loser will appeal and win on the basis of even just the inadequate existing federal constitutional equality guarantee; and sure, not only will that decision be overturned and maybe damages awarded to the former loser and the state’s RFRA will certainly be struck down in part or entirely. But that’s because of activist liberal judges and the liberal minorities in Congress and the Sharia president, so,1. vote out all liberals, 2. &#!?*@, 3. Freedom.
Geller excuses reckless endangerment as free speech. Limbaugh would naturally sympathize.
Limbaugh finished his defense of Geller with:
"See, I'm still relevant! Don't ignore me! Whatever I have to say is important! See! Listen to me! Listen! Hey, where's everyone going? I still have more to say! You have to listen to me"!
