By staying in the Senate, he gets less of the tRump stench on him.

HOW on Earth can you be on ‘better terms’ with a man who insults and demeans you? I can understand working with him as the head of your party but honest to God I wouldn’t even put myself in the RUNNING to join this administration and give the slightest bit of credence to Trump himself.
Marsha Blackburn, so that she would be the incumbent, a try to help her campaign, that would fail.
Corker should reconsider. There’s something to be said for a job that puts you on the opposite side of the planet from Trump.
I don’t believe he is. I believe Corker despises Dump. And he doesn’t like Blackburn and he doesn’t care about McConnell anymore. Which is why he’s not letting himself get sent to Australia so that Blackburn can be installed in his seat and thus. have the benefit of incumbency this November.
It’s always been my dream to be the U.S. Ambassador to the Court of St James. That is the offer I would hold out for.
