āEnd them Muslims, but if Christians wanna come over here and shoot up some of yāall, we welcome 'em to come on down!ā
And once we end them Muslims, we gonna get them Unitarians. Maybe the Catholics and Lutherans too. I aināt too sure about some of them Methodists either. But the Jews are OK until God kills 'em all.
Yep; as a Christian and ordained minister we need to end those Muslims because Jesus never preached peace, he was all about the AR-15ās with extended magazines.
Little late on this one TPM - need some weekend interns
Did he just encourage the students of that institution to commit murder? Isnāt thatā¦illegal?

Yea everyone carry guns and shoot any people you think are suspicious. Yea that will make us all a lot safer. Dumb fuck!
Well, itās keeping me out of movie theaters and shopping malls. Now I hang out at the local biker barā¦where I know Iāll be safe.
As long as you donāt carry a gun there, otherwise you may shoot yourself!
do we get to shoot evangelical christian assholes that shoot Planned Parenthood clinics too?
assholes that think a gun gives them bigger balls should think againā¦ got that piece stuck in your pants behind your back?
watch Ray Barboni in Get Shorty:
thing isā¦ thatās exactly the situation youād find yourself inā¦ a shooter walks in with a gun out and you have to think, get your piece out, aim and fire while the shooter is already laying down fireā¦
course you could do what Uncle Ben fantasizes and talk them into shooting someone elseā¦
Iām not normally inclined to condone arming the student body of a university, for fear that there will be unintended shootings, but I can make an exception here.
Why donāt Christians take responsibility and condemn dangerous radicals like this in their communities?
rotflā¦Well, the Fundie Fruitcake didnāt roll far from the Bakery.
"Had they given Jerry Falwell an enema, he could have been buried in a matchbox." ___ Christopher Hitchens
Just as true for the son as for the old man.
"Jerry Falwell Jr., the president of Liberty University, on Friday night told students that they should obtain concealed-carry permits so they can āend those Muslims.ā
Great. An āinstitution of higher learningā educator who cannot put a grammatically proper sentence together. This should be of more concern to Americans than foreign terrorists. But thatās just me.
(Edit) An even bigger shock and worry to my wife is that she did not know Jerry Falwell Sr. had spawn.
Yep. In 2008 then-candidate Obama said this:
And itās not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who arenāt like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.
I dare anyone here today or anywhere around the country to explain how this is not the unvarnished truth, especially in this particular case. The only part the President got wrong was that he was limiting his characterization to staunch idiocy from people in the Midwest. In fact, he should have just reserved and directed his comments to the entire Republican party and their wingnut followers, as this has now become their full-time ethos.
Liberty Uās administration is a very entrenched cesspool of rightwing lunacy, so no surprise that their own President has the kind of paranoid and bigot-based delusions that can only lead to more violence. This guy is an idiotā¦and his words are dangerous because they carry with them, permission to absolve students of negative consequences should they follow his insane hate-filled rhetoric. Heās a horrible man, much like his hate-filled dead father. There is no spiritualness in anything that man has to offer.
Falwell spews knowing full well IS and terror organizations would not take out his very helpful recruiting center.
My grandparents were staunch Southern Baptists. Many years ago, when I was a child (maybe 8), Jerry Falwell came to town. My grandfather, a high school janitor, was drafted to provide āsecurityā. I remember that as the moment I was completely turned off by religious leaders like him. He was so convinced of his own superiority that he drafted untrained church folks to act as āsecurityā. Seriously? If there was a real threat, my grandfather wasnāt going to stop it. If there wasnāt, then it was all show. I think thatās the moment I realized I wanted nothing to do with organized religion. His son obviously took the nutjob by the horns. Nothing like raising the bar, I guess.
I do not even think they realize how monstrous this sounds. It is pretty much looking to declare open season on a faith. That is horrible.
Also, the irony of many gun control opponents is that gun control laws would not prevent a given attack from occurring. They do not see that more guns would not stop it either unless everybody already had their weapon out aiming the right way at everybody they meet. Otherwise, not much would be stopped at all.
