Imagine if a group of Muslim men took over a federal property armed with nothing more than prayer rugs. Theyād be painted as a dangerous terrorist cell and immediately shipped off to Gitmo.

As a native Oregonian I second her words. Iām not in favor of an āassaultā and I donāt want to see anyone injured, wounded, or killed, but enough is enough. Cut off their utilities, stop allowing them to come and go, and make it clear that when they leave they will be arrested and charged with the appropriate crimes. Personally Iād also charge them with Sedition, since itās clear that is exactly what this is.
When they get hungry, and really cold, and can no longer recharge their phones and laptops, theyāll give up. Take away the media attention that fuels this fire and it will go out quietly. Itās time for action.

LATEST: True to form, bundy talked to an FBI negotiator, only to cite his familiar list of impossible demands: Release the Hammond convicts, transfer Federal lands to ignoramus yahoos like Bundy, abandon the refuge, never to return. Lots more beefs. Bundy considered the FBI had no authority anyway because ālocal peopleā had not appointed them. They should talk again Friday.

I worked with a guy who used to mock another coworker incessantly. Mock his voice, yell his name at every chance and just be generally disruptive around this person. A classic bully. The abused coworker just ignored the bully hoping that heād stop. He didnāt stop. He just kept on going until finally HR stepped in and stopped it.
Thatās what these clowns seem like. The Feds think if they ignore them, theyāll go away. I donāt think so. Theyāll get pissed they are being ignored and then escalate their stupidity. Arrest them now and be done with it.
