Discussion: Letterman To Research Solar Energy In India For Documentary Series

Discussion for article #240680

The National Geographic cable channel is overseen by the National Geographic Society and 21st Century Fox. The partnership recently expanded to include the National Geographic magazine

And if December’s issue of National Geographic magazine is any indication (1), don’t expect much from the documentary.

  1. According to Ruben Bolling:
    Cartoon: National Geografox

And, not to be picky, but I remember Dave saying, just a few months ago, that we’d never see him on television again…maybe he doesn’t count cable.

Good for him and Jon Stewart, for that matter. These former late night hosts are acting like former Presidents in the mold of Jimmy Carter. Doing good works.

And doesn’t Rupert Murdoch now own NG? If so, how can we trust the doc? Will it even be made?

Nice!

Second season. The first was terrific; I think it’s still available online. And to @Vonq: Rupert’s ownership of Fox has never kept the Simpsons from skewering right-wingers, Rupert included; so since the folks who did the first season (which was on HBO, I think) are still involved, I assume this one will be just as solid.
