As someone who has tried more than 20 cases, I have to say that the questioning has been really, really stupid so far from the āRepublicanās prosecutorā as Harono called her.
This kind of small ball quibbling is not a good look, but it also shows that there is not any better set of questions she can ask. When you have nothing to say you do this kind of small quibbling.

This is nonsense for their base. They were unable to trip Ford up in a way that showed Democratic manipulation and ācollusion,ā so now all they want is have some accusation to make.
Democrats used timing and tactics. Wow, what a horrible thing. May as well say weāve caught them thinking! But for the yee haw base this, like all the garbage they dump in the truck, works.
But I honestly donāt think the Democrats played anything out. I think they were, rightfully, hesitant to get into this. These are deep waters and weāve already seen how well Trumpās 19 accusers fared. Truth is, Fordās accusations would have been thrown in the dustbin of history if other victims hadnāt come forward. Bitter truth. But truth it is.
