To be fair: I would 100 % know that I have nothing nice to say about Paul LePage and I wouldn’t even bother faking that I don’t know. As you might guess, I’d probably volunteer several bad things I’d like to say about him instead.

Yet another example of an apathetic brain dead electorate. Do people really want to be lied to? Do they want to vote against their own–and their nation’s–self interest? Do they want to vote for an unequal society? Do they really support racist, misogynistic, idiotic, homophobic candidates? In this sound bite, recycled talking points, puddle shallow thing we call our democratic system, people just can’t be bothered to give a flying fuck beyond their latest attention grabbing diversions though. Our most importance civic duty has been folded into our slack jawed mass entertainment and infantile news babble that people view as reality. Oh, but I don’t have time to research the candidatures and issues; I’d rather be doing X. Besides, I know that party X is the enemy, so why do I even need to bother? Oh, but I can spend plenty of time bitching about local, state, and national issues. Those damn Democrats, those crooked Republicans, but I really haven’t a clue how my elected representative votes or what they actually support–if I can even name them at all.
Fox did some BS survey asking if America was going to hell in a hand basket or some such thing. Well, it it does, it’s not our elected officials fault, it’s the fault of a brain dead electorate that can’t be bothered to give a damn.
Yeah, that was a rambling rant. An injured shoulder and powerful pain meds makes be want to howl and the moon sometimes.

The “I don’t follow them” part of his answer was superfluous. He could have just stopped with “I don’t know” of added “jack shit.” He is probably one of the most obnoxious, ignorant and combative idiots in politics today. How ANYONE with a working brain cell could vote for this person is completely beyond me. He’s an asshole, everybody knows it, yet he continues to draw support. There are either very, very stupid or very, very nasty voters in Maine. Let’s hope there are enough folks sane enough to deny this cretin another term in office. He is an embarrassment.
Maine is going to fuck itself again and return this imbecile to office with less than 40% of the vote.

What is going on here? I thought that some time ago Cutler had said that if it became clear that he was simply going to be a spoiler and be delivering the election to Lepage , Cutler would bow out.
There’s at least 55% of the population who say “not Lepage” and yet this state is going to re-elect the moron!
