Discussion for article #238262

Good. Take it to court, Governor. Plaster that shit all over the national news and the late-night comedy shows.

“LePage On Veto Mess: I’ll Go To Court.”

But the Supreme Court of Maine is nothing but a committee of seven unelected lawyers!

¨It’s very clear – very, very clear. Even I can understand it and I’m French."

Va te faire enculer par un orignal, connard. Tu pige cela?

Edit: I meant to say, more or less, ¨Go get yourself fucked by a moose, asshole. You understand that? ¨

¨Piger¨, however, is apparently French-French, whereas ¨orignal¨ is Quebecois for moose. So I’m not sure Le Page would get it.

See you there, Punky

I’ve lost all respect for Maine voters, and all sympathy. I don’t see how this guy could get elected dog catcher, and IMO it’s one of the all-time great political shockers that he got elected governor more than once.

Much of New England is indistinguishable from West Virginia when you get away from the major cities.

Me, too. And I live there.

Now, before anyone rushes to judgement, let’s all remember that Phil Bryant is a complete moron, too. So,no flat out calling LaDerp here the dumbest governor in the country.

Also, too, Mike Pence of Indiana. If brains were plutonium, you couldn’t generate as much as a single BTU an hour from the contents of his skull.

Look to the last three Governors of Texas, too also. Oedipus Tex, pRick Perry and now Abbott.

I don’t think Abbott’s dumb. He’s just completely out of his mind. And if Texas history teaches us nothing else, it teaches that it takes both kinds to run a state as great as the Great Lone Star State.

What did I tell you in the last comment thread? “He’s wrong, he knows it and he is hoping he can shop for a favorable judge.”

Bam.

“Even I can understand it and I’m French.”

I will give him credit for that being half-funny though…and I say that with some Frenchy in my blood myself.

This raises a tough question that I’m never ever able to decide on: is “fancypants” or “nancypants” the preferred incarnation?

BTW, good call on “sine die” terminology before…I had to look that one up cuz I hadn’t heard it before.

It’s Maine. Were it Texas, it would play well on late night, but well, it’s Maine. A lot of Americans have likely never even heard of Maine.

Not true.

And you can thank MAS*H for that.
