This is so ridiculous. Symbolism, religion, nationalism – it’s all about emotion. So, ISIS beheaded Americans. How did America fail to consider that its entire purpose is to provoke the US into war? It’s because emotion drives decisions instead of brains – even for those who have above average intelligence.
In a country where our kids “courageous” viral videos consist of girls going without makeup or people dumping water over their heads and making a $10 donation, I think this should be a wake up call.
