Perhaps the Kremlin has their own special counsel dealing with Trump businesses ?
Veselnitskaya also admitted her work with Moscow’s public transportation system, in which she drove a bus with special ground clearance to facilitate throwing people under.
Stop The Presses!
I hear Trump is looking to add a lawyer to his team. Is she authorized to practice in D.C.? … and Virginia … and New York … and California?
The lady has nothing to worry about. House Rs have decided after much investigation and subsequent redaction that PP had nothing to do with the Russians.
California? That’s easy. Orly Taitz.
Again just on time to ruin Trump’s weekend. He had such good time on Fox & Friends thursday, the Korea thing is fixing itself, and he bitch-slapped Melania on national TV, he was looking for a well deserved weekend of golf, and now he will have to spend it explaining that there was no collusion no matter how dumb Don Jr. may be.
Is there anything Trump and his cadre have touched that hasn’t involved Russian agents?
Melania? Though wait – he hasn’t been able to touch her lately.
You kind of buried your lede TPM,
In an interview that will air on NBC News on Friday, Veselnitskaya says
she was an informant for Yuri Y. Chaika, the Kremlin’s prosecutor
general, even though she previously denied ties to Chaika.
“Nyet” doesn’t mean “nyet.”
And when she says there is no cannibalism in the British Navy, she means there is a certain amount. No more questions, Your Honor.
Her rank within that organization has to be the same or higher than Trump’s, so don’t expect any angry tweets about this. He’s still working himself up the ladder, which is why he is so obsequious to the Capo and his duly appointed lieutenants.
Fine. So do we know anything about how and why she was at the Trump Tower meeting?
Mrs Von Holst noted that the Vesalnitskaya revelation, juxtaposed with the House GOP Russia report, further shows the latter to be woefully deficient and an even bigger embarrassment.
As I noted elsewhere, Yuri Chaika, the Russian public prosecutor who is named in this article as the Russian government contact that Veselnitskaya reports to, is the same Yuri Chaika referenced in the Rob Goldstone email chain to Donald Trump Jr in May/June of 2016. Chaika sent Veselnitskaya to Trump Tower to attend the meeting on 6/9/16 because she was to be in the US for the Prevezon money laundering case (which Beauregard settled out last year for pennies on the dollar). The NYT left this important nugget out of its article when all they had to do was consult their own prior articles which printed the email chain.
In addition, Glenn Simpson, of Fusion GPS, had dinner with Veselnitskaya and the Russian attendees of the Trump Tower meeting the day before and after the TT meeting. He was working for Prevezon at the same time that he had just hired Christopher Steele to work on the Dossier.
This is all public record btw.
From a legal standpoint, these emails exposed by this anti-Putin oligarch make Mueller’s case against Manafort, Junior, Kushner and the Trump campaign entity much easier. Just as he did in the Internet Research Agency indictment where he equated the Internet Research Agency with the Russian government, so also Mueller can state that Veselnitskaya = Russian government. Therefore, that meeting was a direct contact between Trump campaign officials and the Russian government on the subject of election assistance, which represents a conspiracy to violate the federal election campaign act.
Indict this asshole too. If she ever dares set foot out of Russia arrest her evil ass and lock her up for life. Time to take the gloves off on Russia once and for all.
Better Call Saulsky!
“I am a lawyer, and I am an informant,” she told NBC News. “Since 2013, I
have been actively communicating with the office of the Russian
prosecutor general.”
No shitsky. How long before we see mugshots of her American contacts?
