Business is so loosely connected but steady enough to make a cottage industry of police brutality/murder.
Brown was shot multiple times by police on Saturday
I thought that I had read that he was shot twice by one policeman.
So which is it?
Not that it matters, but it would make it only a tiny bit less outrageous.
Even if it was twice, that would be “multiple”, no?
I’ve read he was shot more than that - up to 10.
We’ll see once autopsy is released.

His name is Benjamin Crump . I did not see that in the article.
Glad the family is being represented.
I was never overly impressed with Mr. Crump but he certainly brings experience to this case, which I am certain will be helpful.

WTF is wrong with these people/animals?
The reports I have heard so far have pretty consistently stated he was shot multiple times outside of the car, and that one shot was fired inside the car. Every bullet of course came from a police gun as both individuals were unarmed.
The open questions are what started the altercation with the police in the first place and who fired the gun inside the car and at whom. There has been speculation that the other individual with Brown may have fired the gun inside the car, wrestling with the officer over it. But at this point,that is pure speculation.

St. Louis has been a troubled city for a very long time now. Hell, there are places in East St. Louis that police won’t even respond to calls after dark. To make it worse, the police force is overwhelmingly white, while the population of the city, and this suburb in particular is majority black.
Yes, but I’ve heard the same thing about Detroit.

I just read that some morons are doing an app so that people can avoid dangerous neighborhoods. They used to live in DC and are now in NYC.
Wealthy neighborhoods breed their own form of ugly crimes.
You do know that East St. Louis is in Illinois, right. And the East St. Louis police force is predominately African American. The shooting happened in Ferguson, a St. Louis suburb which is predominately African American, and the Ferguson police department is predominately white. Nobody knows for sure yet exactly why things happened the way they did, but for now it seems to me like the officer was in full panic mode and started firing his weapon needlessly. The officer is lucky he didn’t shoot and kill someone downrange past the man he was firing his weapon at.

Between the Martin families lawyer and the Florida prosecutor its hard to say which was the more incompetent, the lawyer or the prosecutor. The Missouri teens family might be best advised to hire Zimmerman’s lawyer, he ate the prosecutions lunch. Thanks to his lawyer Zimmerman got away with murder.
The young man who was shot and killed was found 35 feet from the cop car after the cop said the young man was shot struggling for the cops gun while the cop was in his car.

Pretty much unforgivable in an article headlined “Lawyer For Trayvon Martin’s Family To Represent St. Louis Teen” to not even identify the Lawyer.
Not to mention the obscene typo in the 3rd paragraph that reads: “Brosn’s mother, Lesley McSpadden . . .” Brosn’s???
Does anyone from TPM even read these mini-articles once they’re published?
This is an embarrassment on the level of a high-school newspaper.
