That's one way to interpret it. Although a more comprehensive review of Louisiana's economy, education system and quality of life measurements has me wondering why ***everyone*** isn't avoiding Louisiana.

TPM and all other media outlets need to stop referring to him as “Bobby” and use his real name. It won’t matter to anyone with a liberal or pro-immigration mindset, but it will dramatically lower his ability to be taken seriously by his own audience.

Not just you. In fact, I’m starting to think I am becoming mentally unprepared for the inevitable decision or event that doesn’t go in the direction of equality or justice.
Sucks more to be the other side, which is a long way recovering from the mental blow of getting a peek outside the bubble they live in. The country is, they saw, not filled with people who believe and think just like them, and the changes the bubble people have been resisting are not the work of a small cabal of liberal elites and their media stooges. Instead, the movement on marriage equality and the ACA and the confederate flag [a nit, for those who want to pick it] reflect the fact that many of the beliefs and preferences of the bubble people are unpopular and even unconstitutional.

Let the man be Bobby. Jeez. He’s not using an alias to swindle people. It’s the name and identiy he’s defined himself by. It’s literally name calling to insist he has to be Piyush because we think it makes him sound more foreign and scary. My understanding is that he’s been Bobby his whole adult life. Let it go. Bash his policies but let him have his freaking name.
