“Dog bites man” type news. A dishonest Trumpite. Tell us something we don’t already know.
Wait! GRASSLEY is calling this guy’s veracity into question. Well, that’s interesting. Here’s to hoping this is the beginning of the GOP starting to put the Lying Orange Urine-Stain and his so-called “Administration” on notice that they’ll be held accountable.
Then who shall watch the watchmen watching the watchmen watching the watchmen?
All of Trump’s nominees, whether to the executive or judicial branches, are terrible and unfit. The only exceptions are qualified choices who happen to have catchy nicknames.
Well he also served in the Obama administration - so maybe that caught Grassley’s attention.
All The Best People Chapter 103
I’m going to go out on a limb and predict the compliant abettors of the GOP Senate will just go ahead and confirm this man, because party before country.
Yes Sharpley is a Trump nominee but who gave Trump his name? Trump was never in government, Trump doesn’t personally know anyone outside of his family, the mob and a handful of Russians.
I suspect once again Trump is being someone’s puppet and I hope that we find out who is pulling his strings.
I always assumed it was Bannon, and, I’ve come to believe that that is the equivalent of saying “Putin”, because I’m pretty sure Steve is Vlad’s boy.
I’m still puzzling over the Lying Orange Urine-Stain calling James Clapper, among others, a “political hack.” Why is no one in main stream media pointing out the utter stupidity and ignorance indicated by that statement? Clapper might be many things, but “political hack” is not one of them. He’s never been in politics, just the military and then Intelligence. Period.
And why is it not a huge mainstream media story that Putin’s press secretary yesterday told CNN that no conversation about Russia meddling in the US election ever happened which directly contradicted trumps claims that he again talked to Vlad about it and Vlad again denied it. Someone is lying and I suspect it is the orange cretin. That should be a big story doncha think?
Vlad is a former and ongoing Intelligence Professional. He never discloses confidential communications with his recruits. Even the ones where the recruits just need hand holding.
We’re looking into the possibility of hiring a number of trusted lamas to watch the watchmen.
I love this “proof” of Sharpley’s honesty and competency as IG: “[he] created two inspectors general offices from scratch within the federal government”. The House GOP launched several investigations of HRC [email, Benghazi], which ended up proving that in fact the House GOP is completely dishonest and partisan in their pursuit of truth and justice.
Sadly, I think we’ve reached the point where it is no longer news that Trump lies, constantly, about everything.
Sounds like this guy likes to obstruct the judicial process. He’ll fit right in. Wonder if he’s Pompeo’s bum-boy?
Is there anyone who Trump picks who’s honest? They all seem to be liars or ethically challenged in some other way. Consider: Sessions, Flynn, Price, Kelly, Spicer, Sanders, Conway, Bannon, Miller, the members of his family in the administration, “and the list goes on and on.”
If Grassley, a Repub, smells a rat here I think we can conclude that Sharpley is just another fookin liar who shouldn’t get the job. This article certainly doesn’t “reflect well” on him.
I can’t see why everyone is so upset. At least The CIA-IG and the AG will have something in common. Hasn’t anyone ever heard of a “Matched set”?
The two of them match the set of liars and cheats who make up the staff of enablers for President Frankenputz.
On NPR’s Morning Edition on the way in to the office this morning, I heard Jonah Goldberg of the National Review (!!) noting that either (1) Trump is lying, or (2) Putin is lying, and Trump is putting his trust in a liar.
In the same five minute segment, you have Goldberg saying that there must be “something in the water in Alabama”.
