Discussion: Lawmakers Admit $1.3 Trillion Budget Not 'Perfect,' Vote Could Come Thursday

You know, if my goal was “less gasoline”, I’d expect to see the amount of money I spend at the gas pump go down.

This is not down.

Conservatives do not believe in less government. Quite the opposite.

Lawmakers Admit $1.3 Trillion Budget Not ‘Perfect,’ is another shit sandwich

Sausage-making at its opaque worst.

“It’s a good thing we have Republican control of Congress or the Democrats might bust the budget caps, fund planned parenthood and Obamacare, and sneak gun control without due process into an Omni … wait, what?” Paul tweeted.

This budget is about as imperfect as the Trump Presidency. Both will have lasting effects that will hurt us for years (if not decades) to come.

“Negotiators have been working for days — and nights — on details of the bill,”

On a 1.3 trillion budget? Don’t overdo yourselves.

Donald blaming it on having to give concessions to Ds in a tweet was the most ridiculous thing. Only surprise is he didn’t throw some blame on Hillary in too.

‘It’s “not perfect” in the sense that it doesn’t disproportionately benefit the 1% nearly enough’, is I think what they mean.

Holy crap. These ‘lawmakers’ seem to think they can come out and say ‘it’s not perfect’ but still PASS it? That the voters will forgive them? For 8 fking years we couldn’t do squat. Some years they passed NOTHING. They came up with a SEQUESTER for cripes sake and now? ‘It’s not PERFECT but we DID put in the President’s request(s) for absolute BS because he’s the PRESIDENT???’ But somehow Obama WASN’T? I hate you lying mofos…and you blame the Democrats for being ‘blind’. Wow.

On guns, leaders agreed to tuck in bipartisan provisions to bolster school safety funds and improve compliance with the criminal background check system for firearm purchases.

Oh yea we got a tuck for safety, just wait until Ryan gets his shears out for the nips.
