Discussion for article #240853
While theyāre at it, culling the herd, they should cut some of them up for meat and feed some of the hungry they would otherwise ignore.
I am reminded of the tout at the side rail of the race track. An opinion on each horse.
Or they could just bite the bullet and admit that none of these assclowns has the remotest chance of ever being president.
Party of the free market HATES the free market.
All Fascists hate āFree Marketsā.
They only like Monopolies that they control, everything else is the dreaded āSocialismā.
People are ignoring these candidates already. I donāt see what their dropping out of the race will change.
The following is the āsurvivors listā and their current polling numbers should dudeās wish comes true.
Republicans
Jeb Bush-7.8%
Ben Carson-18.8%
Chris Christie-1.8%
Ted Cruz-6.5%
Carly Fiorina-7.8%
John Kasich-2.5%
Rand Paul-3.5%
Marco Rubio-7.3%
Donald Trump-28.5%
Nope the GOP is going to need to cull some more.
Right. Their 0% of the voters they are attracting would only go to the other guys who already have 0%⦠Unless they all clear the way for the guy who asked Trump if ethnic cleansing was an option. Like Borowitz said, that guyās "When can we get rid of (the Muslins)? query for Trump vaulted that guy to the top of the GOP.
You got it.
Jeez. I remember when the right was praising their deep bench.
That is where Iāll draw a line! It would be inhumane ⦠to the hungry.
Now, that would require two things most GOPers seem to lack: introspection and honesty.
Yeah, Huckabee aside, these candidates probably donāt collectively poll at 5%. Even including Huckabee, his, Jindal, and Santorumās voters would probably go to Carson, Cruz, and Paul. Gilmore (ha), Pataki, and Grahamās voters would be split among Jeb and Christie, and nobody would be looking at bump of more than 2-3%. How does that help?
My G-d, the stupid runs rampant, doesnāt it?
One person gets an idea, and they all fall on it like little kids on a soccer ball.
Good Lordā¦
Well, Carson and Fiorina have to stay to be GOPās tokens of tolerance and one the Latinos, either Cruz or Rubio, so it will be a tossup to see gets the hook next.
I donāt think any of the proposed remaining candidates would benefit from even more voter scrutiny. Quite the opposite.
Is it possible that the 2016 bench is actually shallower than 08 and 12?
Iām still amazed that a real estate āmogulā/reality show host would garner 28% of the GOP voters ā¦well, then again Iām expecting rational thought from the freakish source of epic derp.
They all need to quit and let Donald have his way with them.
