One more down, nine to go.
I donāt think this will start to bother him until heās thrown out of office.
Can we please get his name off that building in Chicago? Itās a fucking eyesore.
Big fucking deal. Of course, I would be embarrassed too. But then you read this:
The Trump organization still maintains the buildings, according to the Post.
ā¦and yāknow, the whole idea of him not giving up being able to profit from his businesses (no matter where or what they are) while in office, still pisses me off.
There will be a party on 5th Avenue when āTrump Towerā is removed from Trump Tower.
Easiest thing is to replace the āTrumpā on these buildings with some popular name everyone can agree on, preferably with five letters. āObamaā comes to mind. Just saying.
I wouldnāt be so sure about that. Iām pretty sure every chisel strike removing his awful moniker from his namesake buildings is another blow to Grumblethinskins fragile ego. And the best part is he can never let it go.
Way worse than that. I used to love looking down the river from the Lake Shore Drive bridge. Not now.
Oh you misunderstand. Iām sure the business inā¦Panama, I think it was, where his name was pounded off a building with a sledgehammer, still sticks in his craw. He just likes using the presidency as a tool to bury it. Once heās out of the White House, heāll have more time to think about such things and theyāll enrage him more,
Will the stench go away with the lettering?
some ammonia should help
He certainly seems to take the fact of his election as a kind of universal validation. Whenever heās stuck in an argument he says āIām president and youāre not nah nah nah.ā But I also think Tio has a point in that every little negative thing is intensely painful to him, and the symbolism here cuts deep. Describing himself as a big noise in real estate was really a large part of who he was across the decades. Just the other day we heard the failsons have abandoned their effort to ārebrandā Trumpās crap hotels and stuff with other names. Which is big because when he couldnāt really do development any more, he did licensing, and now his name is too poisonous for thatāwhat was once valuable is now a liability. Heh.
Oh absolutely. But he likes using the White House as a shield in hope that people will not pay too much attention to things like this. Remember his comment after it was proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that President Obama was a U.S. citizen? āI donāt talk about that anymore.ā
Iāve eaten tomatoes that have thicker skins that what this dude has over his bones.
Take that Donnie! They must really love you in NY.
No problem, Iām agreeing with both of you. Classic Libran move. : )
but only if you mix it 1:1 with bleach.
And remember, these were people living in new york who were willing to buy overpriced apartments in a building with his name on it in the first place. Even the arrivistes have abandoned him.
New Yorkers have despised Grumblethinskin ever since his foul air blew in from Queens. Indeed, New Yorkerās reflexive loathing began well before SPY magazineās Graydon Carter and Kurt Andersen even coined āshort-fingered vulgarianā in January 1988.
Fun Fact: Foul Air, sometimes called āBad Airā, is a cave atmosphere which has a noticeable abnormal physiological effect on humans.
Fun Fact II: In Manhattan, home to Trump Tower, the people who know him best voted nearly 87% for Clinton while Comrade Cockholster received less than 10% of the vote.
"If she doesnāt vote for me citizenship for Ma and Pa Knavs is off."
When can they remove the Trump Stain from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue?
