Putting out a slanted, factually inaccurate report is not enough to get a reporter fired? Is there really such a lack of attractive women reporters out there?

and his story was true. you will never convince me that he wasn’t set up by rove and texas operators as payback for rather’s doggedness in going after this story. and for his perceived slights against the bushies.

I won’t be watching 60 minutes ever again if she comes back to the show. In fact maybe I won’t watch CBS anymore because they didn’t fire her. They fired Dan Rather over something like this. They should fire Lara Logan.

The comments about her looks are verklempt, fellows. She was lazy and saw some low hanging fruit on an issue that would make lots of money for her company.

Totally unfair. The Democratic president also has to be black, the reporter has to be a hot (for D.C.) blond, and the bogus story can’t be the result of a deliberate trap set by the president’s political boss.

Suspect she has now pretty much spent all of the “markers” that she held from the nightmare in Egypt.
And she isn’t even really very attractive.

Not lazy, motivated by animus toward Obama and her affection for security contractors like her husband to try to paint Obama in a bad light. This was done with a passion for the GOP/neocon point of view.
