Republican’ts run on a platform message of, “Government is broken!” Then they get elected and break it…

Public accountability is anti-Republican.

Completely dispicable. Not surprising.

God almighty when the walls fall down around Donald’s “organization” we’ll see the chaos that’s been going on and how fucked up the US structures we run on are.

I’ve heard oversight is anathema to professional looters and embezzlers.

Nonetheless Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin was upbeat. “The programs remain secure,” said Mnuchin’s statement at the time.

Until it’s not. Then, a close look will have to be given to see whether it makes sense (to the Rethugs) to even continue these programs. OR, the idea of “means testing” will be instituted where it’s decided that Social Security is just a form of “welfare” and decided it’s too expensive and has to go.

The Rethugs have their eye on privatisation, or, in other words, giving social programs to their oligarch donors so that they can pare them down to make a hefty kleptocratic profit.

Hence why the resort to crime.

If the Left can take control before it’s too late, they can repeal the Trump tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy with the expressed intent of applying the revenues to shore up Social Security and Medicare.

And why not? Princess Complicit along with Little Marco Rubio believe that that Soc. Sec. should be used for childcare options. No joke.

It is the entire GOP establishment. Trump is the symptom, the GOP is the disease.

Why hasn’t AARP demanded that this get fixed?

And they are especially intent on destroying Social Security and Medicare as evidenced by their constantly trying to panic the electorate by scaring them into taking precipitate action such as . . . this one.

AARP is an arm of the insurance companies at this point.
