Jeremy Corbyn is ideologically extreme, beholden to Russia, and (ahem) tolerant of anti-Semites. The circumstances under which I would consider him to be the preferable alternative are rare indeed
The Tories, through the patented combination of arrogance, stupidity, and sheer pigheadedness for which they’ve been justly famous for hundreds of years, have actually managed to bring about those rare circumstances.
Because the consequences of following through on Theresa May’s policies, which must necessarily end in a catastrophic no-deal B-wreck-sit, a global recession, and maybe even the return of The Troubles in Northern Ireland, are even worse.
In fairness: Gorman was green and in over his head in a situation way outside the experience of everyone but Ripley. And he acquitted himself well, in the end.

You are certainly entitled to and welcome to share your opinions. My comment was simply that we won’t have much to offer in the way of solutions, since we’re struggling with a similar ‘mystery’ of our own.
