Christie resorted to a time-honored right-wing ploy—he created a straw man—the most common logical fallacy—in order to dismiss the discussion of raising the minimum wage.
It’s a sign of several things, none of them complimentary to Gov. Hindenburg-----he has no rational argument against raising the minimum wage, he wants to shut down the discussion, and he’s incapable of defending his indefensible position.
Christie is beginning to have a distinct odor about him—burnt toast.

There’s a measure on the California ballot seeking to raise the minimum wage to $10. in 2015 and $12. in 2016. Christie only thinks he governs a blue state, but blue state politics are better than that.
But of course this will lead to another American Exceptionalism poutrage because it’s clearly unpatriotic to love your country warts and all.
