Spiers: “Jared’s such a coward. Went directly to Austin because he knew I wouldn’t do it.”

That’s gonna leave a mark, even if we never see it. :grinning:

The failing New York Observer. Fake News. Terrible, awful people who make up sources that don’t exist. Enemy of the people.

Just another indication of why Trump thinks the NYT, WaPo, CNN and the rest do the same.

“They are all as corrupt and unethical as we are. We’d write fake stories (we certainly tell and tweet them). So, everyone else must, too.”

I’m being repetitive today, but as I noted in another thread: this is news???

Delete this, FRAUD on the public!

I don’t buy into this Greg O’Lear tweet, but it would be a happy surprise.

Fucker likely burned assets in the field - traitorous behavior, bordering on the other T word (can we say we’re in a cyber war and use that to deal with folks who sold us out?).

Doesn’t make him a criminal.

However, doesn’t change the fact that he’s a jerk.

This obscene little rodent is the poster child for astronomical inheritance taxes if there ever was one.

I’m with you — I wouldn’t put money on this, but, boy oh boy, would it make me happy if it were true!

Isn’t it sad that Kushy doesn’t have his own fixer a la Cohen?

He owns the paper, he can do this. That’s unfortunate but legal. One of the first things I learned in journalism class was that freedom of the press is freedom for the guy who owns the press.

Pig.

I gotta say this says something about how aware the editorial side of the paper was about the existence of a web site.

These oligarchs can’t operate as effectively with a free and healthy press. Or as my law professor used to say, nothing like the disinfectant of sunshine.

How would they know? If this site deleted a two week old article would anyone notice?

With the discussion forums, probably. Or anyone who went back to articles for research.

At least we had a journalism class, or two.

Unfortunately, Freedom of the Press does not come with any definition of what ‘journalism’ means or the responsibility that comes owning with the barrels of ink.

What other reason would there be to own a paper but to make yourself (and your friends) look good?

Journalism? Nah
