How long before something like this happens to a journalist doing his or her job? After all, Trump has declared the media “The enemy of the people.”
I expect deafening silence on this, but if a Muslim farts in an elevator, I expect Bannon, et al, to accuse them of biological warfare.
This is exactly what we see on the internet followed by ‘this is what WINNING looks like…’ In this case we have a hateful POS that used a gun instead of his fingers.

The Reichstag fire occurred on this day in 1933. This article compares it to the '99 Russian apartment bombings and quotes Trump from '89 “civil liberties end when an attack on our safety begins.”
There were numerous indications that this was a campaign organized by the KGB’s heir, now known as the FSB. Some of its officers were caught red-handed (and then released) by their peers. A Russian parliamentarian announced one of the “terror” attacks several days before the bomb actually exploded.
Had this still been the Obama administration the media would be clamoring to get the President on the record for a comment and expect that he go to comfort the family and the community…and he did…almost every damn time whenever gun violence occurred, no matter the circumstances surrounding an incident.
An American President needs to say SOMETHING besides banal bullshit, even if its nothing more than fucking “thoughts and prayers” at the very least. Everyone knows tRump lacks empathy and compassion, but fuck that…he needs to fake it for once in his life, for the country’s sake.
The man is totally useless…No one needs a empty fucking orange bloated figurehead enriching himself in office at everyone’s expense. You hear that Congress! He’s still never going to PIVOT.

That last quote is something I have been pondering too. I too am an immigrant from India. I am a citizen and as India does not allow dual citizenship, I had to renounce my Indian citizenship. But after the last year, not just the elections; but the rhetoric that led up to the elections; has me questioning my decision. I always felt that being a Green Card Holder was not enough. To be living in this country without acquiring Citizenship; when I became eligible and thus able to fully participate in the civic life; felt like a copout. I still feel the same way. But I do not know if the majority of the majority in this country feels that way about people like me?
Living in a diverse city where the population is roughly 1/3 white, 1/3 hispanic and 1/3 Black with a smattering of every other ethnicity thrown in; I have been living in a bubble. I always felt like a foreigner; but I have never felt unwanted. After this election it is very clear that the majority of the majority of this country does not like people like me. I have to take this into account for my future. Trump may go away after 4-8 years. But the feelings that he has evoked in people are not going away anytime soon. I never thought this day would come.
