“This is a waste of energy.”
Isn’t that Jeb!'s new campaign slogan?
stopped clock, yadda yadda yadda
Krauthammer looks like a scarier version of The Son of Frankenstein.
However he’s right.
I didn’t think Krauthammer was smart enough or open minded enough to figure that out!
When the nut-jobs have lost Krauthammer, the nut-job’s nut-job, they are in deep doo-doo.
Yeah, a few more years and he’ll be as ugly on the outside as he is on the inside.
Even a blind acorn occasionally finds a pig.
Mr. K will be sorry when the Republicans open up their genuine ACME Impeachment Kit. Remember: If it’s ACME it’s a gas! Cue Wyle E Coyote, cliff, and Roadrunner.
One of those very rare, blue moon occasions, when Chucky is right.
Fox News Special Report
Special Report is on five days a week, 52 weeks a year. How is something you can have nearly every day, all year, “special”? If you had salmon for dinner 5 days a week all year would the salmon still be special?
After the disastrous Benghazi hearings you would think the GOP would get that all their phony scandal mongering has failed them miserably, but they don’t. The bubble they live in seems to be impregnable.
Yes this has got to be a 1st for me to agree with Krauthammer.
It describes the audience, not the content.
Gee, Charlie, do you suppose all these investigations are turning into nothingburgers because scandals in the Obama Administration are like Gertrude Stein’s Oakland: “There is no there, there.”
You can search for a needle in a haystack: while you shouldn’t count on finding one if there is one in the haystack, I’ll guarantee that you won’t find one if there isn’t one there.
ODS at work again. “Even Benghaaaaaaaazzzzzziiiiiii!!!1!!!111!!!” For f*** sakes.
Even putting aside the complete lack of merit of the case, impeaching someone at a sub-cabinet level seems a colossal over-reach. Impeachment has only been used against Presidents, judges (who have lifetime appointments, so impeachment is the only way to get rid of a corrupt one) and one cabinet Secretary. At this rate, the Republicans will be impeaching your local letter carrier for throwing out junk mail rather than cluttering your mailbox with it.
“This is not going to end well,” he said on Fox’s “Special Report.” “Republicans in the Congress have shown that they have no ability to conduct successful investigations of this administration. Everything they have touched has failed or backfired, even Benghazi.”
Um, probably because nobody did anything wrong? It’s hard to be successful when the whole motivation for your investigation is your animus towards a person or group that disagrees with you.
It never ceases to amaze me that with all the hysterics by Republicans about the tyrannical power of the federal government, at the first opportunity they begin abusing their power. The whole investigation of Planned Parenthood is based on one thing. They disagree with and despise Planned Parenthood. Despite the complete lack of any wrongdoing, they are intent on criminalizing this disagreement.
Can you imagine if there was a select committee to investigate “Operation Rescue”? The freak out would be epic.
The Obama administration has been remarkable for it’s lack of any real scandal.
Krauthammer said that even though he thinks that House Republicans found “prima facie evidence” showing that Hillary Clinton made misleading statements about what sparked the attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi, the latest House hearing with Clinton was unsuccessful.
Because all politicians make misleading statements. That’s not a crime. If it were, every politician would be in jail.
Why do they think like third graders?
Not to worry. As nut-jobs go, the GOP bench runs pretty deep.
Yes. Statements on the Sunday talk shows no less. If spin were banned and made punishable, those shows would be off air (which wouldn’t be a bad thing).
