I’ve heard it’s pretty easy to warm to Cockholster’s policies when you’ve just realized a billion dollar windfall.
Yet another reminder that so-called “Libertarians” have zero principles aside from money
A very terse and succinct summary of Conservative America.
I eagerly await the phone call where I get to hear a representative for billionaires choke through a script about how a tax overhaul that benefits said billionaires while leaving my household with a few extra cents at the end of the year is somehow really awesome.
There are really only two types of Libertarians. Honest-to-God oligarchs, and that racist pothead roommate we all had in college that only managed a D average in all of his economics courses because he was too busy freaking out about chem trails and HAARP. They’re worse than most Republicans.
Another lie from him.
The Koch Brothers worship at the altar of Ayn Rand and Trump is every bit the Randian that they are!
Won’t miss these assholes when the almighty calls their numbers.
The Koch network’s chief lieutenants renewed their vow this weekend to spend up to $400 million on politics and policy to shape November’s midterm elections nationwide.
I guess this mean General David and General Charles Koch continue with their obsession at trying to control the battlefield in their efforts to conduct political warfare. Its almost like they’re willing to use a small army of greedy underlings to protect their filthy fossil fuel investments. They think they own the country…and stupid, spineless Republicans are letting them dictate what they want in return for that donation. How many Repubs would still want to be Koch Brothers soldier ants or mercenaries if it were known in full daylight how much they were giving to their preferred candidates? The only reason the Kochs get away with this shit is because its hidden money funneled through a lot of non-disclosure methods. That really needs to change.
$400 million dollars of political WARfare, with the objective to benefit the Kochs personally, the tippy-top of the .001%. They keep throwing good money after bad…but bad is what they’re about, so I suppose this should surprise no one.
Going into the 2018 elections, these shadowy donations will fund so many of these pukes, and any politician taking that money will continue to be beholden to the Kochs, as we’ve already seen. The narrow interests the Kochs present come with a stipulation that demands a return on their investment, which is why the Republicans are in the sorry state they’re in today…by having to pay back their donors and ignoring their constituencies to the point of hiding from them when they show up at town halls expecting to be heard.
Koch Money = Dirty Fossil Fuel Money
Koch Money Recipient = Any politician beholden to the Kochs and forced to pay them back with interest even if it goes against local interests and sentiment back in their home states.
The Kochs are not libertarians but conservative capitalists, of the pre-Great Depression variety. Trump’s and the Republicans’ victory in 2016, which was presaged by moderate big business’ turn to Tea Party candidates in 2014, was theirs, after two previous tries (Reagan, Bush junior). Of course, getting rid of the New Deal and remnants of the Great Society entirely is easier said than done, since U.S. capitalism has not been the rising power it once was since the mid 1960s. That said, history has shown once again that the Republicans are the base party of American capitalism and the Democrats’ role is to serve as a cushion during periods of mass discontent, providing the road for the Republicans’s return.
Never a goddamn meteorite when and where you need one.
Uncannily correct!
Oh yeah? Well you just haven’t read enough!
WaPo has several articles today about the infamous Koch brothers, everything from their influence (thanks to very large donations) on the republican greed/all regs are bad agenda to the next Supreme Court pick.
Keep them coming, boys and girls.
Do you think Speaker Ryan will send me a complimentary copy of The Fountainhead if I ask him for it?
The Kochs didn’t mention Trump’s immigration policies. They believe in open borders. They like using immigrants to keep down wages.
The tax reform bill was so great that instead of selling its self, we have to be reminded by billionaires how great it is?..wait…wha…dah. Time is going to deliver the american voting public one big wake up call when they see how little they stand to gain…
For now, Trump is a useful idiot for the Kochs. I’m sure they have already promised Flake they would fund his candidacy in 2020, in exchange for his vote on the tax bill. The Trump brand won’t be useful to them for more than another year.
These two fuckers should be just two votes in elections, not a national force aimed at the Libertarian wet dream of reducing the government to the sole task of keeping their money safe and growing.
Donnie, Charlie and David Koch will not be happy until You,Ryan and McConnell
Eliminate Corporate Americas Share of the Social Security Program (6.2%).
The Kochsuckers see this as long hanging fruit for their bottom line !!
