Like the Net Neutrality corporate cave happening under the healthcare hooha…
From the above, “Who knows what’s causing it, but the fact that just studying the issue of voter fraud has tapped such a raw nerve among these organizations like the ACLU tells you that they really, really don’t want a presidential commission finding out what there is to see,” he said."
Yeah, the ACLU has a really bad track record on legal issues Kobach. They are one of the best defenders of the US Constitution, so any shade you throw at them is seriously unwarranted. If anybody in the country bleeds red, white and blue for the US constitution it is the ACLU.
“It could be a political stunt” - like Kobach’s commission.
Maybe…
I have a deal for Mr. Kobach; perhaps he can publish his personal information? I’m so sure that would assuage the fears of all those who don’t want their names and personal info sent to some BS commission. I love it when people think that their baseless speculation should be taken as gospel truth.
Tell me that picture of Kobach doesn’t cry out - USED CAR SALESMAN. The only people he should be checking up on are the Trump family members and members of his administration who were registered to vote in several jurisdictions simultaneously. Sean Spicer, Steve Mnuchin, Stevie Bannon, Jared Kushner, and Tiffany Trump. They are the real frauds, as is Krissie Kobach.
Funny how the worst people, and in particular those most opposed to the principles this country supposedly stands for, just shoot right up the GOP ladder and stay there, no matter what.
Sunlight, and lots of it, someone said long ago about politics! More IS More… to expose this cockroach!
It could be, actually, people who are not qualified to vote, perhaps someone who is a felon and is disqualified that way
Why do most states strip voting rights from convicted felons? Felons have obviously done one more Bad Things (assuming they were not actually innocent, which is not a given assumption) and should pay a price. But they don’t lose their citizenship. Why should they lose their voting rights?
I’d hate to think this is hand-in-hand with the long-time GOP push, recently revived with renewed vigor by AG Sessions, for maximum charging/sentencing for minor offenses, as yet another attempt to block people who don’t typically vote R from voting at all. Nah, if that were true Alex Jones would be all over it.
To prove what a lying asshole he is, Kobach just makes up some controversial BS and no one in the media says so.
Kris KobacK grasping for straws … and they grab him right back in the
“It could be, actually, people who are not qualified to vote, perhaps someone who is a felon and is disqualified that way”
It could also be that Kobach operates a child prostitution ring and sits in front of his computer masturbating to child pornography. Just sayin’.
He should be issuing a press release to say that his voter fraud effort is already having the desired effect: getting democrats who don’t want their personal information in the hands of the WH off the voter rolls.
Maybe those folks are canceling their voter registration because they don’t want Jared Kushner to give their names to the Russians.
Is there even a requirement to “unregister”? I would be surprised. When I’ve moved to another county and registered to vote there, I just fill in the blank where they ask where I was previously registered. I’ve assumed that my response was shared with the previous county, but I don’t really know and I haven’t cared.
I’ll give us 10 days before Kobach demands the names, addresses, social security numbers, etc. of those people who have un-registered (estimated 3000 in Colorado) so he can chase them down an alley.
I moved from Kentucky to Ohio just before the election last November. I started the Ohio registration process just before I moved, about two weeks prior.
I contacted the Ohio Secertary of State’s office to see what was involved and was put in contact with the Ohio Board of Elections.
They sent me the necessary documents-which had to be filed with the Sec. States office -and when I asked what I had to do about my Kentucky registration, I was told that by registering in Ohio, my registration in Kentucky would become void, but if I wanted to, I could inform Kentucky of my move so they could remove me from their rolls, but that it was not necessary.
I moved in early October and voted in the November election in Ohio without issue.
I never contacted Kentucky…
I suppose I should also point out that I am a white male, born in this country who looks my age, I am in my 60’s.
Btw, I still had a Kentucky driver’s license that I used as ID when I voted in Ohio.
the White House’s bogus “election integrity” panel
Yes! The opposite of “Fake News”!
Political stunt? OK, but whose?
Fewer non-Republican registered voters = Mission Accomplished!
The stunt is Kobach’s and he hopes against all hope that it works because the fewer people who vote, the more Republicans win. The more who vote, the more Republicans lose.
Can’t win legitimately? Easy solution: Cheat.
Great anti-democratic stunt. Heckofajob, Krissy.
“Kobach Says People Who Are Canceling Voter Registration Might Not Be Citizens”
…
Well I question Kobach’s humanity. How do we know for sure he isn’t some lizard/human hybrid from the great mother ship circling Earth that came from Omicron Zeta 3?
