I have noticed that these evil Republicans never appear to have a top lip.

Creepy

Not to worry, once Trump is elected he’ll declassify the 15th Amendment, rendering Kobach’s efforts moot.

Horrible w/r/t Kobach

Not to worry tho’…

Lots of Distracteds and Bored to make Kobach’s effort moot.

Barack Obama remarked (at an OUTSTANDING address to the Illinois legislature) that if 99% of THOSE ELIGIBLE TO VOTE actually voted. Citizens United would be moot as well.

After all, the Distracteds and the Boreds (by their inaction) are indirectly responsible for Kobach being in office to begin with.

They’ve worn them down through a combination of constant scowling at the thought of people different from them having the right to vote, and a deep concentration over the always perplexing (to them) entity we know as “reality”.

Whenever I read a well-written article on TPM, invariably it was written by Tierney Sneed.

Hell, if 50% of eligible voters voted, we wouldn’t be in this mess to start with! Dems outnumber Reps and it’s gettting more lopsided every cycle. Thank FSM.

I know that there will be lawsuits and that eventually this action will be overturned BUT enough is enough, it’s past time for someone to just punch these f#$*ers out before running them out of town on a rail.

What’s ridiculous about this is that Kansas is redder than red – Sam Brownback, a well-known disaster by the time of his reelection, still carried all but seven counties – so Kobach seeks to secure what’s already secured. He ought to find a real problem to fix, and Lord knows Kansas has plenty of 'em.

So what if the chairman of the commission writes to Kobach stating that the communication that purports to have come from the EAC was not issued under EAC authority and has no legal authority whatsoever. The EAC has previously voted to decline similar requests from his office and that policy remains unchanged. Please disregard all future communications with Mr Newby in which he purports to speak with commission authority, he does not. All past and future statements made by Mr Newby in this regard are herby declared null void and utterly without substance.

Then write a second letter to the FBI requesting that they investigate Mr Newby for having falsely acted under color of purported federal authority.

Then write a third to Mr Newby suggesting that he recuse himself from all such matters while the investigation proceeds.
