He’s doing book signings.
That would require adopting policies that would actually change people’s lives for the better. It’s much easier to stick with the “Trump Bad Trump Traitor” stuff.
Hoping Putin will help him again this time.
“Coddles up to”? I wasn’t aware that there was such a thing. Now, “Cuddles up to…” that’s something I think we all understand. But it’s Sunday morning, and I’m low on brain bleach, so won’t pursue the notion to its logical conclusion
oh please…KLOBOUCHER…‘coddling’?? is this the best you can do?..PUTIN& TRUMPf will’eat your lunch’…put on your big girl shoes and stomp him into the dirt.
you are forgetting that most of TRUMPfs support comes from really dumb people who have no idea what ‘cyber’ is…they love the show he puts on, especially his ‘rallies’.
Klobuchar Slams Trump For Friendly Putin Call: POTUS ‘Coddles Up’ To Putin
(Big Yawn)
Amy should have ‘coddled up’ to her staff years ago. What’s the play now, not to appear too bitchy?
Does the Democratic Party have a spokesperson to refute/condemn these cable headlines?
In a recent conversation with a former co-worker who has deeply succumbed to the madness of Trump supporters, it became clear that they see Trump as their Obama. Whatever we say Trump is doing, they defend by saying that Obama did it first. The utterly mindless nature of this position should be all we need to see that we are never, never ever, going to reach these people by facts or calm and careful argument. (Maybe a few here and there can be deprogrammed, but for the most part it is a hopeless pursuit that expends considerable energy and resources without producing equivalent beneficial results.) Our only choice is to make them irrelevant and overwhelm their votes. (This need is somewhat complicated by the electoral college, which will remain in effect for 2020 and the foreseeable future, and by all too effective voter suppression. Consequently, no vote can be taken for granted, even in presumably “safe” states.)
I don’t think it’s smart to use those words, even if it’s supported by the facts in plain sight, like this latest phone call. It’s too easy for R’s to defuse by waving the Mueller report in the air as proof that there was no collusion, no conspiracy.
The right move (IMO) is simply to say, over and over, that Trump has a bizarre and unexplained friendliness with Putin and the Russian government. Suggest that it will be a factor in the upcoming elections, and express outrage that the President of the United States is violating his oath of office, by not leading the charge for voting security.
All of that can be done without using words that are now highly politically charged like “collusion,” which Mueller and Barr conveniently buried in terms of political discussion. The current situation can be described without that specific word.
“Coddling” is in the same category as “meddling” in the 2016 election. Our system of government was attacked, and for anyone to call it other than that underestimates the damage.
She was far stronger than the head line suggests. She slammed Trump for lack of action on election security, she slammed Trump for killing a Senate bill to secure the vote, and yes she said Trump coddled-up to Putin but that was not the take away for me.
Wow, hear that (almost word for word) from the wife everyday.
And Citizens United is the cherry on the top of this sh*t sundae.
Too often important things don’t make it to headlines because they’re not eye catchy. Disappointed at the media.
There’s a smart woman at your house.
Absolutely correct. With the hardcore, basket of deplorables, voter suppression, gerrymandering and Russian interference all in play, it all comes down to get-out-the-vote. It has always been about GOTV.
What Senator Harris did and said to Barr while questioning him was very effective, and PP said afterward she’d been nasty to Barr, granted her a nickname of Nasty Kamala. Maybe that’s the criteria, wait for the nickname. Klobuchar’s not there yet.
“we accepted (Mueller’s report) as accurate.”
Harris then ended the line of questioning by saying, “I think you’ve made it clear, sir, that you’ve not looked at the evidence and we can move on.”
She will be now.
If she’s our nominee, I might just need a “Nasty Kamala” mug or t-shirt!
Senator MacNasty?
