You’ve limited yourself to King’s remarks and it’s not the whole picture. From NYT reporting to which a link is available in the story. But I’d agree on paper ballots which is what I get to use as a permanent absentee voter.

“Throughout the entire community we have not seen any evidence of any significant change from last year,” he added.
The warnings were striking in their contrast to President Trump’s views on Russia. He has mocked the very notion of Russian interference in the last election, and lashed out at those who have suggested otherwise. He also said that he believes denials of Russian interference issued by President Vladimir V. Putin.

Their perfidy-for-money is not to be underestimated. By late summer it should have been clear to them that there were large numbers of accounts claiming to be US-based but with IP addresses in St Petersburg. They could have suspended those accounts, or just slightly jiggered their algorithms so that the trolls posts didn’t show up in real people’s feeds.

maybe it’s not just the WH. Maybe it’s the whole rethug party. Did the Russians also hack the rethug servers? Do they have files of shit of the rethugs? Are they using this info to get what they want?
