This is reason #48,962 why I hate conservatives. Do you know how many times I was stuck on the Brent Spence Bridge or stuck on I-75 in 2004 when King Bush descended on Cincinnati? It happens every time any president comes to your city, but somehow Black presidents don’t deserve the same protections. Only White ones should get to shut down traffic.

Look, if she didn’t give birth in the ambulance she wasn’t probably in true labor yet. Lots of women jump the gun and go to the hospital when their contractions are too far apart. Then they end up getting talked into an induction by their ob/gyn, so he can get home for dinner with his family.

I’ll bet every one of those hack writers a hundred bucks I could talk to every single person on that sidewalk and spin their errands into some sort of fauxtragey reason Obama is imperially awful. A little girl going to visit Grandma at the nursing home! A husband taking his wife some presentation materials she forgot! A convenience-store employee running late for her $5.15 an hour job she’s terrified to lose! And all waiting until finally, finally, whoosh! the gleaming armored limousine goes rushing past and eventually the last siren fades in the distance! As if their lives don’t really matter! Why, it makes me so…

Well, hey, when I was in Normandy in 2004 for the 60th D-Day anniversary, our tour was prevented from being able to visit Pointe du Hoc because George W. Bush had decided to make a surprise visit there that day, and all traffic on the road leading to it had been blocked off.
It’s what happens unless you decide that a president should be imprisoned in the White House for his entire time in office.
