Discussion: Kim Jong Un Vows North Korea's Nukes Not Up For Negotiations

“The U.N. Security Council could impose additional sanctions on North Korea, but it’s not clear they would stop it from pursuing its nuclear and missile programs since the country is already under multiple rounds of U.N. sanctions for its previous weapon tests.”

And it probably doesn’t help that Nikki Haley is taking to twitter to bitch and moan about having to go to meetings about North Korea…you know doing her job…instead of vacationing.

Ok, so somehow the NorKo’s manager to launch a single, wobbly nuclear ICBM and blow up one of the Aleutian Islands.

Or Wasilla.

Are they that delusional to not recognize the startegic pounding they would take, even if we had a sane President?

Donnie will incinerate the Korean peninsula…

There ya go Punky. NK has the means to nuke American territory and there is not a freaking damn thing you can do about it. I guess you showed Obama how it’s done, huh?

The result of that one missile would cause the north end of Korea to be thoroughly wasted, along with the southern Korean people by artillery and nerve agent rockets from the north, along with Japan from NK missiles and fallout from our 50 or so 20megaton thermonuclear bombs on NK.

That is the best case scenario. China would likely retaliate with a large ICBM launch against the US when they detected incoming traffic so close to their borders. Which gets us incinerated as WWIII reflexively takes place in about two hours.

Hey, I never said Donnie wouldn’t get his hair mussed.

The Russians and the Chinese will come up with “peace talks” to “calm down” the situation. They will propose the “de nuclearization” of the Korean peninsula. Young Kim will agree to freeze his missile and weapon development- along the lines of the Iranian deal- while the US will withdraw all strategic forces- subs, aircraft carriers, missile carrying ships- to a boundary to the east, say 500 or a 1,000 miles. Kim is a tool of these much greater nuclear and global powers. The real strategic interests here, of the Russians and the Chinese, are advanced, while those of the US are diminished. US response time to Russian or Chinese actions in the western Pacific will be reduced.

Donnie Two Scoops will not see any of this, of course. They know he wants that piece of paper so bad that he’s willing to believe that 1) the Chinese will do him any sort of favor after all the shade he’s thrown on them (“But the cake! The beautiful chocolate cake!?”) and of course 2) Putin is awesome.

He will look like Neville Chamberlin getting off of Air Force 1 after some big signing ceremony in Vladivostock, clutching the paper. More winning.

Punky tweeted. So there really is nothing left for the USA to do.
