I’ll call her worse than “Hitler.”

I have not laughed that hard in a long time. Thanks.

Hitler? No, you are way too insignificant. You won’t even rate a footnote in the history books, dear. But homophobic and hypocritical? Better plead guilty and see about a reduced sentence.

Whomever is calling her Hitler needs to stop. It’s not a fair comparison. Hitler went away.

It could have been meant as a compliment, just saying…

Hitler was only married once.

Seperately, the newspaper in Indianapolis is reporting that the plaintiffs filed a motion yesterday seeking sanctions based on her “adulterated” marriage application form (and, tantalizingly, that Kim will appear on Megyn Kelly’s show on Fox tomorrow). I haven’t read the motion but it sounds like they’re seeking fines but not an order that she be returned to custody. Maybe someone will have a link to the motion soon - sounds like another fun news day.

irony? maybe calling her the ‘Great Satan’ would be more satisfactory to her…

It hurts when someone calls you a Christian hypocrite? Good…you’re a Christian hypocrite.

I wish I could unsee this. Yuk!!!

More interesting is something else buried in the petition:

“The motion asks Bunning to warn Davis that further violations will bring sanctions, including receivership of the office for the limited purpose of issuing marriage licenses, and stiff fines.”

Federal Master would be put in office to issue licenses.

she seems to be a deeply stupid individual who utterly lacks the ability to take another person’s point of view. Look how she trivializes people’s desire to obtain legitimacy in their domestic relationships.

I always marvel a how ‘true believers’ are able to disconnect brain function in lieu of just waving some out of context quote taken from a work of fiction… in this case the bible…

A link to the ACLU motion is in this article.

Separately, it took me two minutes to find this in the Kentucky Revised Statutes–
“402.110 Marriage license to be uniform and completely filled out.
The form of marriage license prescribed in KRS 402.100 shall be uniform throughout this state, and every license blank shall contain the identical words and figures provided in the form prescribed by that section. In issuing the license the clerk shall deliver it in its entirety to the licensee. The clerk shall see to it that every blank space required to be filled by the applicants is so filled before delivering it to the licensee.”
Davis is breaking state law by altering the forms.

So now she’s a constitutional scholar as well? She was better off as a know-nothing idolater.

Kim Davis, a constitutional scholar, huh. It’s a good thing dignity isn’t guaranteed in the constitution because she has none. There is that pesky life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness clause, though.

She is right. Dignity is not in the Constitution. But equal protection under the law is, and what she is doing is denying people equal protection based on who they love. She will go down in history, but it will be on the wrong side of it.

'Twould be interesting to find out what the people who elected her think of her now .
