This is getting to themâŚprobably because this is a start of what is to comeâŚwhich is much more than âJohn Deanâ
As a longtime TPM reader, I have to say that it distresses me to see TPM run with this kind of âstoryâ. âRepublican on Fox says something sarcastic about Democratsâ is not a story. Itâs TPM becoming an echo chamber of right wing propaganda and memes. Those of us who are subscribers, I suspect, would prefer to see our money supporting content that doesnât amplify GOP attempts to hide important choices behind a wall of muck. Whatâs the next story in this series? âTrump uses nickname XX to mock opponent?â âHannity calls Dems Yâ? Havenât we all heard it before? Donât we all know what the game is?
Conway was complaining that Democrats keep shunting her out of rooms in which she was supposed to brief senators on the opioid crisis.
As an expert or speaking from personal experience as a participant.
You donât get that worn appearance from running marathons
â Democratic control over House meeting spaces on Mondayâ
Of course. Theyâre in majority.
âConway was complaining that Democrats keep shunting her out of rooms in which she was supposed to brief senators on the opioid crisis.â
Ask Turtle for a room.
This what passes a wit for their audience of dim and half wits.
âA place to brief senators on the opioid crisisâ means a place to shoot up.
We have. Which is why you have to ask yourself whether itâs really plausible that anyone who knows what this site is all about is going to be swayed by anything Kilmeade or the rest of the propagandists say. Itâs the news equivalent of hate-watching, a thing you can sharpen your snarking claws on. Never once in all these years have a I read someone saying, Gee, Brian Kilmeade has a point there, they are using the House as John Deanâs dressing room.
And in the Gingrich-induced-FOX-ânewsâ-fueled-hyper-partisan era we are unfortunate enough to be living in.
Speaking frankly, my son tunes this stuff out. I, myself, look at it only as something telling me about the other side and how they feel.

Makeup or no makeup, what is the Dems prime objective in having Dean testify and is there a decent chance Deanâs testimony will have the desired effect?
The Demsâ ongoing internal disagreement about how to proceed with its multiple investigations into Trump misdeeds is sapping peopleâs faith in them and, what, listening to Dean ramble on about the Watergate cover-up is supposed to better elucidate a way forward with the current criminal-in-chief?
Well, reading this stuff and snarking is a form of entertainment. Maybe it relieves tension, and maybe itâs a bad habit, or both. Passes the time at any rate. If youâre a student of communication their propaganda techniques can be interesting to think about.
Many people who will vote next year may be benefited by what Dean has to say. He is a man from another era, to be sureâŚbut perspective can never hurt, especially for the young who may never have seen or heard John Dean.
He certainly has an opportunity to show the contrast between the corrupt GOP of today and the Republicans of the early 1970s.
Years before I ever posted on this site, I used to sit and howl with laughter at the creativity of the wisecracks. My wife, in the other room, had to close the door many a timeâŚ
Dammit, Iâm a little slow this morning and read the headline as âKilmeade Quitsâ.
I like this description very much. And not merely because it personifies these dolts as inanimate posts that cats can scratch at or rub their rumps against.
Conway was complaining that Democrats keep shunting her out of rooms in which she was supposed to brief senators on the opioid crisis.
Conway on Capitol Hill briefing Senators?? Who the fuck is she kidding? As a political strategist and WH communications person, she was trying to get a heads up that early in the morning while roaming the halls of the House of Representatives. Thatâs not where Senators have their offices. So, right away, that sure seems suspicious to me. Why not send the head of Department of HHS to address the opioid crisis? How did she become an expert on this stuff anyway? She does know Dean will appear in front of a House committee, not the Senate, doesnât she? Oh hell, Faux viewers wonât know the difference.
So many questions. So few answers.
Please, TPM. No more âKilmeade quips.â We all know heâs an incurable liar and monumental dumbass, so donât waste any more time expanding on this turd.
Especially if theyâre featuring the Crypt Keeper.
Didnât read the article. I just cam to the comments to plead with TPM to stop featuring these bozos.
How fucking juvenile ! So, while weâre at it, âHey, Brian, the entire congress could use your forehead as a parking lot.â
This is interesting because the Fox studio set they are sitting in is a room where they make things up, so it all fits.
