I’m sure Trump would agree that it was America’s fault, since we’re a land full of killers and just like Russia.
In reality, the US didn’t deserve 9/11. Sure, some of our policies could use improvement, but mass murder sure didn’t make the world a better place…though it did achieve the al Qaeda goal of getting the US to become more militant and dangerous to itself and the world. For all his evil, bin Laden read the US perfectly as to our reaction to 9/11 by the Bush administration.
I’m kind of surprised. I thought it was Obama’s fault.
What you’re missing here is that it’s a photo of Khalid Sheik Mohammed.
Exactly, one of bin Laden’s goals was to draw the US into a long war in the Middle East. He achieved that goal easily.
The 9/11 conspiracy fact (not theory) that never got enough attention was the illegal “exploitation” of the 9/11 attacks by the Bush Admin. That got overshadowed by the 9/11 Truth Nuts. I still know people who think Fahrenheit 9/11 was about how Bush and Cheney “did 9/11”, so they refused to watch it. Complete nonsense.
And as it turned out, the exploitation ended up achieving the opposite of what the Bush Admin thought they would get (sweeping the Middle East with no problem). A bunch of amateurs who thought war is a board game that we could win just by moving pieces. Clueless.
And there are far smarter and evil people now reading a far dumber and gullible President than George Bush, planning the next attack. The quicker Trump is removed office, the quicker we can remove the GOP from power, the safer this country will be.
BS!
That’s Ron Jeremy!
Google images has the same pix from different news agencies and they’re all tagged as Khalid Sheik Mohammed. When I first saw it I thought it was a mistake too, but of El Chapo.
Your métier is showing.
Try LensCrafters. Sarah Palin did!
If media outlets can publish what Yoo and Cheney say, it’s hard to argue against publishing KSM.
What sensitive information would that be?
Serial numbers of the planes?
A message from Alex Jones?
This is a good point…ISIS and company may or may not be smarter, but they are up against a US government led by incompetents, and still largely empty of leadership positions. This is a prime time to strike at the US, especially as we are alienating nations around the world, and will also have the likely result of pushing us further into dictatorship due to the reactionary behavior of the current government.
The only thing helping us is that the terrorists are not as effective now as they were in 2001, especially at making a big strike into the US, and the bureaucracy is still there to thwart them in spite of the idiots running the show.
Non-combatants never “deserve” to be injured or die. But of course our policies in the Muslim world in general and the ME, S. and C. Asia and across N. Africa in particular were the motivation for 9/11. Propping the Saudi “royal” family has to end. Our failure to rein in Israel has to end. And if we can’t make them honor agreements, we can at least stop helping to fund their ability to act counter to the Palestinian and our best interests.
Unless we disengage from the Muslim world militarily and politically, we will be a target and fight these same battles over and over accomplishing nothing but making the nation less secure and less respected and trusted.
“It was not we who started the war against you in 9/11; it was you and your dictators in our land,” Mohammed wrote in the letter published on Wednesday by the Miami Herald.
Hard to argue against that. After decades of meddling in the ME supporting dictators, murder, assassinations, torture and regime change, we were going to eventually pay a price. We just had no idea how devastating the price would be to the victims and to the America Psyche.
